It's normal for the first broadcast to be low viewer count. If the calendar mentioned that it is TB + Apollo casting or who the players are the viewer count would be much higher, as it stands now not many people know what " Iron Squid " is and they may think it's some random low level tournament and not click on it.
Don't spoil the results and don't over tease what could possibly happen. Like in game 3 of Tod vs Boxer when you said something like "if Boxer ever came back it would be huge don't you think dAppolo ? Oh yeah that would be huge but it's very unlikely to happen *wink*wink*".
Also I can't stand when Totalbiscuit makes racist remarks about french people. This time he insinuated french are lazy when he said "Tod defends drops the french way : he is le tired and just leaves units there". Last time at Assembly winter he said "Stephano isn't rude and arrogant, he's only french". And the previous time I listened to him he said something like French surrender all the time. I'm aware that most french people listen to the french stream but it's not a reason.

Uh, you can't be "racist" towards French people. Plus, it is nothing said with hate or malice, it is clear he is joking. People make small off hand jokes or comments about every nationality.

When I heard that line, in particular with the "le tired" phrasing, it sounded like TB was referring to the endoftheworld.swf. However, outside of that it still sounded to me like that was more of the usual British-teasing-the-French rivalry they (I believe) have going. While I do think there are limits to that sort of thing, I personally don't think TB took it anywhere near the limit.
Your the ironsquid. This is cast from replays. My spider sense is tingling.
As I said, I don't have any access to the results, don't worry about that! I write the preview which published as Iron Squid content, but me being in Iron Squid stops there

Seconded on the spoiler part. Another thing that would be good is to cast the games on the same order on both stream. I wish there were some more production on the English steam too. In between games analysis and not just "We will be back after a short break". I know TB and Apollo don't have a nice set as the French casters have but the broadcast was much shorter on the English stream.
About French bashing, it's a part of the British culture to have an inferiority complex towards French people and therefore to overcompensate

Maybe there should be a list of acceptable stereotypes to joke about? Like, Americans are warmongering imperialists, fat and stupid. The English have bad teeth, are ugly and racist. The Germans love to kill, have no sense of humor and eats nothing but sausage and sauerkraut. Russians are depressed, corrupt and crazy. And on and on.
Comedy gold! This really should be used in more casts!
These stereotypes aren't offensive because they hurt peoples feelings, they'r offensive because they're so lazy. I understand for the need to have something to fall back on in a high intensity situation like casting, but these worn out 'jokes' really shouldn't be it.

I met TB and Apollo in Finland this week-end, they are everything but racist, don't get offended by mere jokes

Lotta bullshit here. We did not spoil anything, we do not prewatch replays and we do not know the results before they happen.
As for the French jokes, lighten up. They are just that, jokes. Don't pull the racism card out, it's insulting to any intelligent adult that knows what real racism actually is.

I personally find it quite ironic to hear an overweight US/Brit videogame commentator with a beard, knowing probably nothing about French history, and putting in doubt french bravery while criticizing French "rudeness" and "arrogance".
Everything is fine about jokes as long as there is no double standard, ie : one joke about a certain category gets you applaused while another equally offensive one about a different kind gets you banned.

Apparently having a beard makes something ironic. Right. We already determined how easily offended some Americans can get, are we going to now add the French to the list too? Perhaps we should sanitise every cast and forum post and pretend that rivalries between nations do not exist. Let's not even mention the Sweden vs Finland thing at Finnish tournaments because y'know, we might upset someone. It'd also be nice if you didn't make stuff up, I have never made a "surrendermonkey" joke at any point during a cast and to be honest, I frequently defend Stephano for his brash attitude because let's be honest, that is a french trait that some other countries (America most often) mistake for arrogance and rudeness.
I find it quite ironic and more to the point hypocritical that you are whining about a perceived and unproven lack of knowledge of French history yet claim that I come from the US which is the most laughable thing I've ever heard. What has the ad hominem attack got anything to do with the argument? Nothing what so ever, that's what. Either you are easily offended by mild jokes about your nationality, or you aren't. There's no "ooh, let's attack this one person personally as if that is comparable" option for you there.
