Wrong. He realised something was up after Genius kept faking to make the 3rd, continually making lings.
He just couldn't produce enough stuff, because Genius hit the timing before Infestors were out with Fungal and DRG had invested into the tech for them.

About Genius cancelling the 4th gas: There's no reason not to. Even if he keeps it and chooses not to mine, a player at DongRaeGu's level will, if he scouts it again, click on the gas to see how much has been mined. Better save those 50 minerals!

Nope, I know it is hard, and Genius is one of the best in the world and my favourite P (for what that is worth). What I posted was a wish for entertaining games. Just because Genius play perfect all-in doesn't make this esport or entertaining at all.

It's not about having that much of an effect, it's about perfecting the build. That extra 50 minerals, allows you to build one more probe without changing any other timings of the build.
This is mastery, not 'roughly good enough'.

Then download a replay of that build from a progamer and try to it the exact same timing. Maybe then you will know if it has an effect or not.

on KR server, they do every little thing that can give them an advantage to win. It doesn't matter what, they will do it if they think it gives them an advantage. That's one of the difference between the servers.

It's 75 minerals and the fact that 3 probes are mining gas instead of minerals.

You totally missed the mindgame. By showing the 4th gas Genius tricked DRG into thinking he was going for a gas heavy build, as in, NOT a blink-stalker 7 gate push. Thus he was underprepared. If he had known what Genius was going for, he certainly wouldn't have upped melee damage instead of armor, and he would have retained more slings instead of letting them die to +1 zealots.
It's not in the build, it's in the execution where the fun was.
