Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:
Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.
Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV. |

.... if you're not going to, just make it online.
does anyone know if MKP has a facebook/twitter/etc... to give him some congrats?
If I remember it correctly, this Winter Arena is planned very abruptly so they cannot find a place for spectators or some kind of that reasoning. So I guess the next Arena will have spectators.

I'm sad by the ppl that giveaway $20 for this, no1 is seeing this. It's some sc2 in a room, how it's helping esports at all? Plz, it's just helping the mlg pockets. thx for nothing.

Ok Terran you won both events this weekend, please try to keep your tears on a limited level now.
Thank you.
And to all other races: Don't cry either. Again, thank you.

Best thing is, we're almost guaranteed lots of re-matches at the Winter Championship next month. ^^

The last play in that game was absolutely fucking brilliant by MKP. After all that 2-rax pressure deciding to take the fast third totally threw off DRG and allowed him to gain the advantage. Despite the hiccup with the gas, it was brilliantly played. Definitely a worthy winner.

Because it was only those 4 invited koreans that got expenses paid in 2011, right? Not the pool players... top 16 gets all of their fee's paid for Orlando exclusively I'm pretty sure, and I assume another arena style event will take place to determine the latter tournament groups with a top 8 invite from Orlando in the spring arena, If I'm wrong I apologize.
MLG is in Columbus

))))))))))))) all this waiting was sooooo worth it, MKP been playing really solid late lately, only falling out of Code S by losing to Genius, not just that, his play style changed a lot, looking for more solid builds + mixing it up with the old stuff but man really deserve the win..... I LOVE YOU MKP <333
|
Man I cant get over it MKP won against DRG
|
That final was a really weak one. DRG just got outsmarted by MKP, especially in the 5th and 6th game. None of the games was close at all. The Polt vs Stephano series was way way better imo.
Anyways... gratz for MKP.

sickest finals ever In your illustrious 54 post history have you done anything besides complain? ad hominem carpe diem
Am i doing this right?
I wish they would have showered MKP in confetti and given him a HUGE cheque and trophy :p

I mentioned this 1 day into the tournament on the feedback thread . . . this was not a high quality production. Yes, high quality games and players and casters, but not production. You need a big audience, award ceremony, flashing lights, music, entertainment etc.

Big congrats to MKP for winning and also to Naniwa who beat down Nestea (again) and Leenock.
Looking forward to seeing what Huk and Naniwa can do this year, GL.
|
They should have a nice ceremony for him. I mean come on get the staff, players, whoever and hand him the fucking trophy, instead of having a (mostly) dead room.
Also funny how DRG cheeses naniwa and no one complains. I mean I have nothing against DRG now that he has started mixing up his play but it seems like every zerg just cheesed nani and he was no exception. And DRG did straight up cheese - the impossible to recover kind.
MKP on the other hand went for early pressure with the bunkers, which was hardly an all-in. Give him the credit. He was by far #1 at this tournament. And the 2 clowns artosis and tasteless (well, mostly artosis) should shut up talking if they can't congratulate the deserving winner. Sheesh, first nestea and now DRG?

Seriously. I never understood the SC2 community's fanatical hatred of cheese. In BW it was accepted as part of the game. Almost every single player did it from time to time. It was just part of the overall strategy of winning a series.

wow thats all? feels like worst way to end a tournament so akward :D
|
Well this was kindoff as frustrating as to have sex and never get to cum... Jesus fking christ.. ITS REALLY IMPORTANT TO WRAP IT UP GUYS, O man.... To bad when the tournament up to this has been probably the best I have ever seen...

MKP will become the best player in the world once he finally defeats his nerve issues at live events. Hes probably the best online player, having 70%+ win ratio and #1 on korean ladder for all the seasons so far. 80% last season i believe with number 1 rank by miles in points.
