I'm asking because I don't follow SC2 closely enough to know myself, but I've sort of noticed how a lot of people here doesn't acknowledge how incredibly good Stephano is. he is incredibly good player for foreigner. He can hold his own against korean easily too but he is not on top yet.

It's going to be hard, apparently Select is in beast mode, and Puma is always a very dangerous player. At least it's not a zvz so I think stephano has a good chance to win, but it's going to be tough. In the other quarter finals I think Mana can win against Lucky, he is training with Stephano in ZvP it should help.. eventhough it must be more discouraging than anything to train with him ^^. Polt vs Hero I don't know, it can really go both way. With polt loosing to bling I would give the advantage to hero but I wouldn't bet on this.

Here's the deal. Imagine looking at two different TLPDs. They have played against the same opponents in the same order and at the same times. Both went 0-4 against MC and Naniwa. After that, one of them (let's call him A) went on a very long uninterrupted winning streak, and one of them kept playing scrappy. Who would you rather pick to win a match versus, say, MC? You're disregarding evidence, and that's a sin. Of course it doesn't mean that player A will easily stand up to MC or Naniwa, but his winning streak is evidence toward that he ought to do better than previously. You're saying that the winning streak is evidence that Korans will beat him, which is false. Logic, guys.

Stephano is a good player though. He's just not comparable to top koreans. At home story cup he went 0-6 against mkp, mc and sound. So... no?

No, I'm basically saying I don't find the streak impressive, given the level of competition he faced. I don't look strictly at wins. Quality of opponent has to factor in a lot, cause to ignore it is kind of silly.

There are so many talents out there and people wonder why some well known players lose to some "unknown"... Thats like soccer... why lose some top clubs to someone who has never made a quarterfinal in any tourney? they can pull of good play aswell!
