The guy has no stage presence and says a lot of annoying things. Yeh he botched that call for a cheer. But I think he has done well overall, though sometimes you can see him making up the questions as he talks.

What if you don't want to invest in mutalisks, and you see the dropship sitting there but the queen can't reach it. I'm not saying there are not ways to get rid of it, but it feels weird not being able to discourage drops that way. Maybe dealing with it is a testament to a player's multitask ability. Zergs at lair tech tend to go either for muta or infestor-heavy play along with their ling/bling. Mutas allow you to harass your opponent and defend from drops easier, whereas going infestor means your army is stronger in the direct fight but weaker to drops. Dealing with drops is harder when you go with infestors, but if you can defend well you are usually in a great position. Having well places spines and spores also help a lot.

Not to mention he kind of downs the players, to me at least. "You're going against a guy who has had his head in his lap"

Not sure about that, I think TaeJa or Hero also deserve to be in the finals. Especially now that Hero is in boss-mode lately and no longer playing horrible games (blizzcup etc)
