Well after watching Puma vs Lucky game 1 and 2, at least SOME credit is due ,even from the greatest hater, for Stephano. And Lucky is a pretty good Korean Zerg.

pretty, meaning destroying naniwa in gsl. twice.

Naniwa has done so bad after going to Korea that I wonder if his time there is really worth it. He treats it like a trial that he must pass but a player needs to win something in order to keep his morale up, and there he's just not given the opportunity to.

Yeah, Korea is definitely the most unforgiving ground for high skilled players. There just should be more opportunities/small tournaments to give more unknown players more coverage and exposure. Were it not for KSL(to some extent GSTL) who would have seen anything from Finale, Monster etc. in the first place?

I have not seen one game of Lucky where I really thought: "Well done."
Dunno why that is but if its his standard performance then all I can say is: Meh.

Edit: Granted I didn't actually see a lot...

His ZvP games are pretty solid. He played against Protoss all the way up to the semis, then he met Terrans and it's been meh ever since.

Both Stephano and Lucky have ZvT as their worst match-up, but Stephano's ZvT looked a lot better than Lucky's.

Well worst match-up is a relative thing. Lucky's ZvZ is his worst matchup, and Stephano's ZvT isn't that much worse than his other matchups. Stephano is incredibly well-rounded.

Both players are fairly sloppy to be fair, puma barely splits vs infestos and lucky blocking his army with infestors

You named 2 ones I already did, and 2 additional ones... GJ. Compared to foreigner events it´s still lacking quantity. Yes it´s growing but still.
