Stephano only seems to be vulnerable to strong 2 base pressure, either stargate backed or blink stalker timings. In many of his korean ladder replays, he steamrolls many tosses with roaches if their pressure doesn't do enough. His achilles heel seems to be ST_Squirtle though.

Its cause he build so many drones. Korean protosses know how to be aggressive and force units early unlike foreign protosses. I believe many of them will just execute 2 base timings against stephanos greedy play and have a pretty decent win rate.

Stephano is still a sick sick player, he probably could make some good runs in code A.

Stephano doesn't make as many drones as Ret or Idra. His opening builds are generally quite safe, because he has such good macro and unit control in the mid and late game.

JYP,Puma,Taeja,Polt,Lucky,Hero? I guess if that´s too bad for you you rather go watch MLG.

Neither of them are top koreans, they hang around in high code a or very low code s

CodeS is not the definite, unquestionable, supreme classification of the skill of a player.

Definitely not.
Even GSL kings MVP and Nestea are not unfamiliar with code A.

There is also a GSL Champion at Assembly and he's not necessarily the favorite.

Even though it´s "just" PvP, great play by WhiteRa so far.

CodeS is not the definite, unquestionable, supreme classification of the skill of a player.

No? What else is, then?

As of the starting players of GSL codeS in GSL 2012 Season1:

Hero is not in codeS, Inca is.

Lucky and Curious are in codeS, Stephano and Violet aren't.

Fin and Boxer are in codeS, Polt and STC aren't.

Now go ahead and explain how is codeS a definiton of being "stronger" given these names.

These names are completely opinion based. Fuck stephano and Violet didn't even attend code A qualifiers, how the hell are you comparing these names... The system is one that works and those that deserve code S status will eventually get there, it's harsher atm and a lot of big names have dropped to/out of code A, but that doesn't mean they won't be back.

You can be good and not be in code S, that doesn't mean they deserve to replace those with Code S status. Come on.

Curious isn't a bad player. He won code A without dropping a match and he was one of the better players in GSTL last season Violet had a shot at code S but then he fell out and moved away from Korea so idk if you can say he deserves to be there right now. I'm not denying he's good though. He's at least code A

Yeah that's actually what happens when people secure a natural in PvP and start making colossi. Fun stuff

GSL format makes it so easy to fall from code S.

Expanding to 3rd usually means loss in PvP though right?

No, taking your nat means that.
But getting a third... pvp is to unexplored to say something about that :-P
