Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

Does anyone have more info on the way Stephano lost to Cloud?

Second and third game were really fast, he 8 pooled on the second game against Cloud and lost, not sure about the third one

why do you Lmao about match fixing? theres nothing good from it, nobody benefits - ESPECIALLY the fans
if Nani wins vs Sheth, he will advance because of better mapscore
that doesn't make match fixing acceptable? i guarantee if naniwa was stephano's teammate he would never even consider 8pooling and throwing the game.... :/ I could care less if naniwa advances, i want to see good starcraft games... not some butthurt zerg 8pooling a terran...
That's pretty much why a winner's match and a loser's match is better. Games that actually count when only one possible player can advance = shit gets fucked up. It's the subtle things like this that stop Dreamhack from being the best tournament around without question (though they could learn).
Edit: think GSL groups, though even they might be different from the Dual Tournament format I'm thinking of.
For those of you at DreamHack there will be another chance to meet players and get official DreamHack posters signed! NightEnD, MaNa, Cloud and Stephano at the Telia/Twitch.TV players lounge at 13:00 (1pm for non-euros). I'll probably be snapping lots of pictures of people getting their signatures so feel free to smile if you want to be seen getting your poster or <insert random strange item of clothing> signed.

Nop seems Stephano throwing the matches so Naniwa wont advance
Naniwa won't advance because he himself is losing games, drama queen?
Yes, but you have to realize that stephano not giving his all against each player is really unfair to naniwa and advantageous for cloud.
But Naniwa advancing if he wins against Sheth is kinda unfair to Cloud because Cloud beat him. So, yeah... you can argue it both ways. Let's just see if Naniwa can win or not.
I want players to play their best, so it's sad for me to see some players today not performing. The mental battle in SC2 is half the battle it seems and is quite interesting.
I do like to see players performing well though, so go Sheth!!!
I was starting to forgive Stephano, but this is pretty shitty. I mean, I know it's hard to give it your all when you're already out of a tournament, but doing this completely undermines part of the tournament structure.

Who beat who individually has absolutely nothing to do with fairness.

Well, I'm not arguing about tournament format here... I'm saying it's like Naniwa had to play 3 tough opponents while cloud only had to play against 2.
