Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

In addition leave the usual out of this topic:

-Balance complaints
-Map complaints
-Stream complaints
-Caster/player bashing
-Off topic discussions

Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned
upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage!

Absolutely!
Sheth is still quite underrated.

Stephano in a weak ass group, still got eliminated.
And idra got death group, barely make it. How is idra overrated?

Sheth and Nani a weak ass group do not make.

They are both pretty weak.

Yeah, I'll bet that's what he's doing. How can you think a player would jeopardize their tournament success in order to screw over another player?

Stephano is out

Oh, really?
Still, I doubt he would do that, unless they have a history I'm unaware of.

He 8pooled against Terran. Probably even worse than 6pooling a Terran. I doubt it's to eliminate Naniwa specifically but he didn't exactly put up a fight as soon as he went out.

if naniwa wins 2:1 he will have 4-3 maps and ClouD 4-4. If they are looking maps Nani will advance or if they look their match ClouD is advanced.

Naniwa won't advance because he himself is losing games, drama queen?

Yes, but you have to realize that stephano not giving his all against each player is really unfair to naniwa and advantageous for cloud.

But Naniwa advancing if he wins against Sheth is kinda unfair to Cloud because Cloud beat him. So, yeah... you can argue it both ways. Let's just see if Naniwa can win or not.

That's what happens when you win 2-1 and lose 0-2 vs winning 2-0 and losing 1-2.

It's the downside of this group format. You can't really expect a player to give it his all if he already knows he's out of the tournament no matter what.

If Dreamhack did the groups GSL style you wouldn't have had these games where 1 player has nothing to play for.

I can't imagine Stephano favors Cloud, who accused him of cheating a few months ago. Then again it's hard to motivate a player who is out of the tournament

The real question is how did Stephano lose to Sheth in the first place? He started the tournament as one of the favourites, and his loss to Nani is understandable, but getting 2-0ed by Sheth is a pretty big upset imo.

Oh well I suppose that's what happens when you leave your tournament outcome in the hands of Stephano or anyone for that matter.

Sheth won his first round so not only are you dumb, but the very few facts that you use, you get wrong.

why do you Lmao about match fixing? theres nothing good from it, nobody benefits - ESPECIALLY the fans

if Nani wins vs Sheth, he will advance because of better mapscore

that doesn't make match fixing acceptable? i guarantee if naniwa was stephano's teammate he would never even consider 8pooling and throwing the game.... :/ I could care less if naniwa advances, i want to see good starcraft games... not some butthurt zerg 8pooling a terran...

It isn´t map fixing if he doesn´t get smthing for throwing away the games, It´s not different from football teams that already secured first place in their pool and doesn´t put on their best players for the last matches.
