Lol, well done well done.
I suspect there is something about the GSL that just gets to nani and prevents him from playing to the best of his ability

Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

I know, but beating the best players in the world head to head does. Its just so rare that 1 player faces and beats all of them in the same tourney run. It's one thing to win a tourney while getting a great lineup, but Naniwa has beaten the best players in the world each of the past 3 days. Who would you pick to beat him right now? Nestea? MVP? DRG? Not yet. It's just the best. You do realize they have local tournaments we don't get to see? Also a shit ton of players we don't get to see. If the Korean scene is so huge for SC2, why do the Korean teams need foreign money? They do right now...Flash is rumoured to be worth $400k. Once (if) BW switches over fully to SC2, just wait, they won't need foreign money. On another note, MLGs are also a lot of fun. They want to travel to new and exciting places man. There's a lot more to it.

Aye, we're an awkward country with awkward people. It's got to do with Jante-lagen, get one of your swedish friends to explain that one to you >.> Haha will do. The only time i was ever in Sweden i was too young to remember anything about it, but my friends always tell me things that are kinda funny(to me at least). I thought it was hilarious that my friend was studying to become a "Landmeister"(sp?) and had classes with the prince of sweden. Guys a friend on mine is swedish, and he´s kinda the most charismatic and outgoing person i know. Dont generalize this ![]() oh idd, Naniwa is in no way the typical swede :p quite the opposite imo. but hey, I cant really be objective now can I. Naniwa isn't typical, no, but there's a certain northern reserved disposition that's common all throughout Northern Europe.

Also, Naniwa will win... because he's just ballertoss. So, will there be a "Best Signs of the Stream" thread? Some of them are bad, but some (like Kerrigan look alike contest) are pretty funny.

Extended series fucking this up. Next 2 matches will sstart with 2-0... Yep, it is as much a disgrace as it was when they announced they were keeping it for this year. Impressive when you intentionally ruin your own tournaments with your dumbass rules. Doesn't matter. Normal double elimination rules already ruined the finals no matter what. Because GSL finals have all been great and MLG finals have all been bad. I'm against extended series, but only because I feel it doesn't make sense. How good a match is depends on a lot of things, not just format. When one person has a big advantage over another, it tends to make the match bad. Just because almost all GSL finals have been ridiculously one sided isn't the format's fault. I actually suspect letting the players pick the brackets has a lot to do with the one sided GSL finals.

Foreign tourneys need Koreans more than Koreans need foreign tourneys. Yeah, the only reason MLG has this prize pool is because of the koreans. MLG got MUCH bigger in viewership after the korean invites.
