Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

One tourney doesn't make you the best player? Nor does repeatedly failing to get out of Code A. I have the nasty feeling Naniwa is going to win, and ride his hype train right into another GSL brick wall. It's a bad habit for MLG winners. The problem with MLG is that the format makes it so that you can't say "this player all these players in this tournament" because certain players are given such favorable circumstances. Both naniwa and DRG had really good seeds, and Naniwa only had to win 3 series to get to where he is. Sure, take his series over the tournament as good wins over top players, but it's not like he bested them in a 64 player tournament where he had to win from the starting line.
And for people saying he "deserved the seed and the advantage for previous MLGs", but sorry, in no way should you be given ridiculous advantages such as this just for showing up to the other MLGs. He basically had 1 good performance like a year ago against no koreans, then just got like 7th+ at the others.

naniwa's accomplishment imo isnt that ultra overwhelming considering nestea had to face naniwa after going through the open bracket and having no stamina
naniwa is facing guys that are already so gamed out when they get up to face him but naniwa only played 4 games before DRG heh
i suspect once zergs learn to deal a bit better with this heavy strong forcefield style naniwa wont make it far in code S facing fresh players. i know after 30 games i get really dull and cant play at my top level
or heck even if you just have to play 6 games of high intensity in a row it really takes a toll on my level of play I suspect you need to learn how to math son. People don't realize that Nani got his seed because of his earlier MLG victory. He won that THROUGH THE OPEN BRACKET. He went something like 32-1 that weekend. He has played his game. no he also lost a set to Machine + Show Spoiler +

One tourney doesn't make you the best player? I know, but beating the best players in the world head to head does. Its just so rare that 1 player faces and beats all of them in the same tourney run. It's one thing to win a tourney while getting a great lineup, but Naniwa has beaten the best players in the world each of the past 3 days. Who would you pick to beat him right now? Nestea? MVP? DRG? MMA? MC? Huk? Leenock? Taeja?

If Naniwa wins, two straight Protoss wins for MLG

In my perfect world Leenock will pwn face and take it :D but they don't have to win 4 times in a row.... lol Yes DRG does. Nani is up 2-0 going into a Bo7 meaning DRG needs 4 wins.... Isnt it bo9?

When we're favourites in a World vs Korea match.

How can you check the number of viewers?

Should be doing very good translating job. He has been translating in many videos where Artosis interviewed players and such. (I don't know Korean, just assuming)

Never. Korea has by far the biggest scene and the best players. Unless that changes and a massive cultural shift happens somewhere else, it will never change. Korea is NOT the biggest scene for SC2. Not yet. It's just the best. You do realize they have local tournaments we don't get to see? Also a shit ton of players we don't get to see.
If the Korean scene is so huge for SC2, why do the Korean teams need foreign money?

He won, I believe it was in the blizzcon euro qualifier where he just got his spot by beating Thorzain (unless i'm mistaken, memory a bit foggy).
