Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

What should he have said? Did you want a speech from him thanking his whole team, the owners, the money etc etc. He said exactly what the truth is, better practice partners. God some people
People tend to expect graciousness from players (this goes back a long way). When a player seems to so consistently go against that convention, people start to think he's trying to be disrespectful. In Naniwa's case, it seems he's just a really weird guy and means nothing by it.
Honestly, you should really reevaluate your ideas on the purpose of communication and stop being so reactionary.

Hoping for Leenock to beat DRG somehow. Let us have a nice finals for once

naniwa's accomplishment imo isnt that ultra overwhelming considering nestea had to face naniwa after going through the open bracket and having no stamina
naniwa is facing guys that are already so gamed out when they get up to face him but naniwa only played 4 games before DRG heh
i suspect once zergs learn to deal a bit better with this heavy strong forcefield style naniwa wont make it far in code S facing fresh players. i know after 30 games i get really dull and cant play at my top level
or heck even if you just have to play 6 games of high intensity in a row it really takes a toll on my level of play I suspect you need to learn how to math son. People don't realize that Nani got his seed because of his earlier MLG victory. He won that THROUGH THE OPEN BRACKET. He went something like 32-1 that weekend. He has played his game.
I don't agree with people complaining for rest before games, its just the way things go. Its not like naniwa got to prepare for who he was going to face.
Anyway Your argument is NOT applicable to this tournament. You have to realize that naniwa came out of the open group before koreas were even coming to MLG. There is a chance that naniwa might not even make it out of the open group at this MLG. So next time actually compare different events before you mark them as the same ordeal.

A finals without MVP in it? is this real life?

DRG wanted a Korean top 2? Hahaha awesome.
It would have made people rage so much

i have no idea who the f*ck leenok is, but he's awesome.

Kinda surprising that DRG would be rooting for Leenock rather than Nani if he had won Nani

I guess the monikers westerners or whites are a bit bad taste and quite fragmenting.. It is still the World vs Korea. Worlders? Non-koreans?

Extended series fucking this up. Next 2 matches will sstart with 2-0... Yep, it is as much a disgrace as it was when they announced they were keeping it for this year. Impressive when you intentionally ruin your own tournaments with your dumbass rules. Doesn't matter. Normal double elimination rules already ruined the finals no matter what. Because GSL finals have all been great and MLG finals have all been bad. I'm against extended series, but only because I feel it doesn't make sense. How good a match is depends on a lot of things, not just format.
When one person has a big advantage over another, it tends to make the match bad. Just because almost all GSL finals have been ridiculously one sided isn't the format's fault.

Aye, we're an awkward country with awkward people. It's got to do with Jante-lagen, get one of your swedish friends to explain that one to you >.> Haha will do. The only time i was ever in Sweden i was too young to remember anything about it, but my friends always tell me things that are kinda funny(to me at least). I thought it was hilarious that my friend was studying to become a "Landmeister"(sp?) and had classes with the prince of sweden. Guys a friend on mine is swedish, and he´s kinda the most charismatic and outgoing person i know. Dont generalize this You should look up Jante-lagen though, it explains a lot of the weird behaviour you may see from some Nordic people.

Yes swedes maybe tend to be shy. But man not like that!? If i was Naniwa there i would be brave in front of the crowd after a awesome 2-0 victory! He never seems happy =/ the swede with the name Luccesi XD

Maybe that's just me?
