Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly: - NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever. Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

It's got to do with Jante-lagen, get one of your swedish friends to explain that one to you >.> Haha will do. The only time i was ever in Sweden i was too young to remember anything about it, but my friends always tell me things that are kinda funny(to me at least). I thought it was hilarious that my friend was studying to become a "Landmeister"(sp?) and had classes with the prince of sweden.

I feel it is kind of bound to happen as it grows larger, more newcomers get into it. In my opinion it wasn't like this at the beginning, but that's just my thoughts.

I wonder if any proplayers will be able to beat protosses next month as Zerg if they play like Naniwa and abuses FF at max. It reminds me about the MC vs July finals where July couldnt do anything since the forcefields were there all the time. Hopefully Leenock beats DRG cuz he deserves a better spot (which I doubt he will tho), but I cant see him having a chance vs protoss in the final. This just makes me so sad, lol. The PvZ seems so broken. User was temp banned for this post.

Let's instead be like it is - Naniwa - so far - clearly is the best player in this tournament. Also LOL @ the 2 base allin whining, in 2nd game everyone who has a fucking clue of SC2 can tell that Naniwa was FORCED into it and if he didn't he just flat out died.

Sure if I'm playing I'll do whatever to win, but as a viewer I don't like watching games like that. Ring up Dustin and his fellow David Kim and tell'em they need to redesign Protoss. Really, if all-ins, timing pushes and anything you could with less than 2 bases is too strong, too hard to fight against and always potentially game-ending then hate game - not the players. They just wanna win. Did you actually bitch about MVP's win over MC too? I mean he did timing attacks to win, you know...

Korea has by far the biggest scene and the best players. Unless that changes and a massive cultural shift happens somewhere else, it will never change.

It doesn't surprise me that most gamers are "weird", since most games don't often require interacting face-to-face with people. Also because most societies and certainly governments/businesses (same thing) shrug when it comes to bullying, if they don't encourage it, and the gamer is usually an easy target.

He had 0 chance of holding an expansion so he didn't have much choice to go all-out attack. It may have been viable to expand and start remaking probes once he killed the gold, but he obviously saw a chance to win so he took it. I'm disappointed that extended series has sort of taken the excitement out of the games, I hope Leenock wins the first 2 games and, if DRG makes the final, he wins the first 2 games.

Because GSL finals have all been great and MLG finals have all been bad. I'm against extended series, but only because I feel it doesn't make sense. How good a match is depends on a lot of things, not just format.
