Keep enjoying the games. In advance, if you OP whine, see you in a while. If you post well, hopefully see a lot more of you :D <3 |
In all honesty though, Puma's ghost control wasn't like MVP's (which is a high standard from what we saw against July). I did like Idra's attempt to attack from different areas.
The old Idra would have just constantly bashed his army head on with Puma's tanks. But the nydus and drops, even if they weren't all that effective, made puma be on his toes enough for idra to just roll him.
I expect Puma to bust out some opening harass builds though.

wow, i never ever cared about casters before, but that fanboyism was extremely annoying

Lets keep it down. Idra played nice and won one game. Doesn't mean Puma can't win a macro game vs him.

After that comes the 3rd place match.
Probably the best game I have ever seen from IdrA. Let´s see, if he can continue that way.

That was a great game, but people need to calm down. Wait for him to actually win the series before deifying him.

i dont get people complaining about mr bitter being biased? idra played ridiculously sick + has been really out of form lately + just beat a korean terran + bitter is a zerg foreigner. why the hell wouldn't he be singing idra's praises

15cc by Puma? Interesting.

Baller open from Puma. I love it.
Also, lol at the EMP that went off on the Ultras last game. Nerves much?

yes we are, love his enthusiasm but it was a little bit over the top this argument is a classic example of a ab = tl(i) + tl(pc) situation

Late 3rd (up and running around 13-14 minutes), absolutely no harass/damage when he opens up 2-factory BF, and allows Idra to run rampant in macro.
Exactly. Not to take anything away from Idra, he exploited it perfectly but I'd hardly call that the best ZvT. The game was won when Puma couldn't prevent the third and fourth from going up at the same time.

If that was nothing special I wanna know where you watch your starcraft because I haven't seen that much variety coming from a zerg in a while lol.

Elfi said in his interview that he did not think he could beat Idra.. I imagine an Elfi vs Puma match would be more closely contested, but I do want Idra to win... so conflicted

Definitely the best game I've seen from Idra.
Pretty sub par play from Puma, he didn't have the turtle kind of army composition yet played passively with over 50 marines and 0 maradaurs.

Lol.. any zerg player can pull that off when the terran is sitting all game long without any aggression.. I feel Puma was told to lose the series .. he's not playing the way he uses to PuMa was defending the muta harass and the initial nydus worms beautifully. IdrA took advantage of PuMa's defensive style, forced him to split his army with fake worms, and then sent a maxed army straight through PuMa's weaker centre.

he stopped making mutas for like 20 minutes. i meant after he first saw the ultras

Yea, it was pretty onesided doesnt mean it cant be one of the best game.
You have to take micro, macro, transition, timing and decision makings into account PLUS THAT TERRAN WAS PUMA.
