He was also the only player I had ever seen do good storm dodging up until the past few weeks with some terrans doing so. Nestea has amazing micro. What? All you do is a-move zerlings/banelings, wait a bit, then a-move mutalisks, then select banelings and right click on marines. Hardly micro intensive at all.

When its Zerg or Protoss everyone usually says how they are genius, amazing, etc. Obviously, thats not the right thing to do, but its hard to blame people when you see the state of the races, its obvious that in all regions there is a bias against Terran being either overpowered, or, if not overpowered, than easier to play then the rest of the races. They even joke about it in the first episode of the Yellow show. ZvP just changes with who is the UP race of the month though. When MC was rapign Zergs left and right LR threads whined and whined about FFs, Colossi, Stalkers, Blink, Warpgate etc.. Now that P is the UP one people complain about Infestors, Roaches, Infested Terrans, Mutas et al. I am not saying that there might not be a possibility of a real imbalance(BW fixed a lot of the holes races had in Vainilla SC so I don't expect perfect balance until the expansion(s)) but geez sometimes the betetr player can win, and people are so blinded by the OP UP mentality that genuinely good players don't get credit for their wins, which IMHO its a terrible disrespect for them

And think of it this way, a lot of people would kill for Code A! So really, it's not that bad.

Ebay for when mutas come. I do not think that gold base is touchable by zerg from any strat. Maybe what they can do is mass lings and banes with no mutas, speed for both and spread creep a lot so the marine micro isn't as effective. In any case, all golds need rocks at this point, it is too abusable in zvp and tvz IMO. Forget the split. That early in the game, you can have enough helions to counter lings, or enough marauders to counter the roaches. You can't have both, and the reinforcment distance favors the zerg's faster units. I think it's feasible to attack the gold with roaches or lings depending on what you unit comp you scout.

I'm not saying that MC is even close to Flash, but MC is pretty damn good at the game and it is a bit short sighted to say he is average because he lost to very good Terrans when Terran is dominating and could still have a good shot at a tournament win if one game went differently.

And in Flash vs Jangbi, Flash was fucking good. 10 times as good as all today's code a card combined. Or 1000 times. Or even more. Jangbi was just better.

This and baneling nest before spire (because he saw no expo with his OV and assumed terran will do some kind of one base play) made mutas come out too late. And mutas are the only tool which allows zerg safely take map control against hellions. In reality, usual straight up play (w/o investing in early carapace upgrades and bling nest before spire) should've killed this due to the fact that terran would be forced to defend 2 different locations from mutas and lings at once. That's it, imho.
