Why all the whine, huk could have won that if he just kept his immortals at the 3rd and flanked when virus attacked. He was floating like 300 gas so he cld have made 3 sentries and blocked the marines (you need sentries to hold)
The more such all ins i watch, the closer i feel that protosses can hold it.(Refer to mkp vs jyp in up and down and how jyp held the 1st push despite losing like 10 probes to hellions)
The required skills to hold it are going to become apparent to these pros soon enough, and this all in style of terran will go out of flavour soon.

but nada did not split his thors properly, so you lost
im only talking about this one game. and in this one game, your time arguments do not apply because nada would have clearly won if he didnt mess up his micro. nestea remaxing on lings wouldnt let him win
what you fail to realize is the zerg isnt ALWAYS in a position to remax on lings in time and have it win him the game. in this scenario it wouldnt have been able to stop the push
if nestea remaxed on lings he still would have been fighting 10 thors and 15 hellions with LINGS.
it would have been a loss for nestea
nada was maxed. he woulda lost 7 thors maybe to those 80 banelings but nada was maxed on hellion/thor. nada had like 17 thors, 64 scv's, 17 hellions. thats 200food. after the battle nada still would be making more thors and would have 10 on the field plus hellions to push with and all nesteas units would be dead
your point is a bland complete generalization that doesnt apply to all games. nestea was not massively ahead of economy at the time to let him win if nada microed properly
what YOUVE SAID has no bearing in the game im talking about. im only talking about that ONE GAME, not every scenario where a terran is trying to attack a zerg after a battle
You re right man Nada is just terrible. I mean you could go to Korea right now, pick terran for the first time and just roflstomp Nestea it s so ez right? Seriously you could make a lot of money think about it. There are 20 terrans in Code S and obviously none of them are even Gold level if they played Zerg. You just split your thors constantly while macroing and crossing the whole map. It sucks against lings and roaches but of course its the banelings you have to worry about. But seriously thors are overrated , for me they re in the ultra category if you have 15+ you can win. Maybe.
I think part of the micro aspect on Nada's part was just his preconceived idea about Thors v Baneling. I think everyone was blown away to see them work.

I just gotta say dang, I still hope Huk makes it to the ro16!

It's for all zergs, Nestea has one too

Either way HuK botched the 2nd defence unfortunately, threw away too many troops to kill the tanks.
Anyway GO ASD!!!

Seriously people. Huk played well, but he threw units away in virus' base for no damage and mismicrod the final battle. It's not as clear cut terran imbalance as you say it is. Huk made mistakes and they were linked to his loss completely. Had he had the 6 zealots and 4 stalkers he lost in Virus' base still alive, he might have held it.

3 barracks and no starport is a 1/1/1 ?

Wrong, watching those immortals dance around and not shooting the tanks in the 2nd attack was just painful.

you talk about mis-micro but terran don't even need to micro to win

Hoping HuK can pull of the impossible and still advance to the round of 16

Range-less collosii? Chargelots also don't do great against an scv wall. Blink maybe I agree with, but the 2nd push actually came so fast that maybe none of the above would have been complete. I mean, doesn't a Nexus take less time than all of the above, and yet he was able to cancel it before the push? =/

there seems to be little huk could do to win that game... i mean...he HAD to cancel collosi because the all in came very fast, even with almost perfect micro and response, all it took was one second of "not so perfect" micro and to loose.Despite the oponent microing 99 times worse. That should not be possible, specially after huk crushed the first atack with minimal looses considering the strenght of the all-in. I believe blizzard is watching this and they better do something Fast . This is seriously hurting the game.

+1 range won't make as much of a difference as you think it will since the body of a Stalker is longer than 1 range.

Virus went 1/1/1, Huk defended first push very efficiently with immortal tech. Huk then pushed out and lost some stalkers and an immortal while attempting to expand. Virus did a final SCV all-in, and won the engagement.

yeah but at the point where he tried to get the last tank it was over anyway it 5 stalkers to 30 marines

Lots of people saying 1 base protoss cant hold 1 base terran all in. Does that actually hold any credit or is it as ridiculous as it sounds

So Virus stays in Code S.
Again.
Fucks sake.

was just bad play by huk, there was no need to build stalkers, terran had no air and he knew it, if he spends his gas on collossi instead of immortals and stalkers he wins the game ezpz Jeesus christ stop saying that. THE COLOSSI DONT COME OUT IN TIME, PERIOD.
thats nonsense, he could have easily had 2 collossi by the time the second attack hit, he just had to build zealots instead of stalkers and then he has enough gas to afford robotics bay and collossi
