His play against LosirA in the recent Up/Down was pretty weird and he's lost a string of zvps lately, even at international events he's looked very mortal against mediocre zergs, whilst still winning against strong international TvP players like select. Personally I think Jyp looks really good vs zerg, but it's hard to say who the best PvZ player is these days as they mostly struggle. Idk, no protoss does well in PvZ in GSL, but MC has never lost a series vs a foreign zerg at a lan which is pretty damn impressive with the amount of games hes played(series vs idra ended 4-2 so it doesn't count IMO :D.) He's still up there in PvZ but protoss is simply so exploitable and predictable korean zergs just tear them apart(like naniwa said). I guess we'll see how he does vs Monster and Nestea maybe he can bring something new.

Select vs Alicia first round will be really intense, seeing as Alicia is a PvT king but if Select plays like a super baller can win hopefully. Sase vs Fruitdealer shouldnt be to hard: Btw how did Fruitdealer get in? Wasnt he knocked out and I dont think i saw him qualify via the Code A quals ( i could be mistaken). Maka vs Sjow is TvT so hopefully Sjow should be able to maybe take Maka out. Naniwa vs Curious is what has me curious. I wonder if he will hopefully be able to take him down and at least advance this time.

It was kind of painful to watch. Also, correction: Not Naniwa vs. Curious, but Naniwa vs. Lucky. If it was Naniwa vs. Curious, chances are Naniwa wouldn't advance, lol.

In fact there is only one mirror matchup, and it's ZvZ :O Its because the qualifiers had the absolute worst possible map selection for terran so only 1 I think made it thru the qualifiers (I watched all but I think2 qualifiers so if a terran made it thru in one of those I missed it) and that all the really top tier terrans are in code S.

Was always going to be hard as they all got their worst matchups, and had just arrived in Korea the day before. Anyone who thought Naniwa had even a slight chance against Check really didn't understand the game well enough. I still doubt it will go well for the foreigners, but I hope one or two will get through this time ![]()

And of course, go naniwa! I feel like foreigners have a good shot in the first round. But that might just be because I don't recognize the names of Naniwa's or Sjow's opponents... XD
