In the case of Revival, I actually expect him to win. Monster, I give him a fifty fifty. Zergs are more dangerous than advertised. Why does Monster have a 50/50 shot against MC, the dude has a 35 percent winrate and 2 recorded ZvPs lol.

Because it's ZvP? If he's good at ZvP he's a good chance of Knocking out MC, who is weak in that matchup.

He has 2 games played. He might be horrible in ZvP which is why it's silly to give him 50/50 against an overall far superior player.

Yeh, well...50% chance he sucks, which is doubtful since he got through Code B, and 50% chance he is good Hard to say with such little data. Will be an interesting series I think!

I thought throzain made it to code A?

Code A will be lot of fun to watch in October, mostly due to lack of terrans (especially TvTs -.-), looking forward to it! :D

Just a random though but it makes me sad that we're doubtful about MC winning vs a random code a zerg with a 35 percent winrate, and MC is still probably 1st or second best PvZ in the world...the state of protoss makes me /wrists. (Who doesn't have a weak PvZ? lol)

Monster eliminated Squirtle in the qualifiers. If MC plays like he played in the up and downs and GSTL recently, he very well could lose.

(T)sC > (Z)RevivaL (P)Alicia < (T)SeleCT (P)MC v>(Z)Monster (Z)Kyrix < (T)GuMiho

No idea on some of them. Most of the ones I did pick are from my heart pick. I'm just glad there are less Terrans in Code A then Code S.

God, I never thought I'd see the day where I could say, "HongUn probably has the best PvZ in the GSL right now," and be taken somewhat seriously.
@ Demonace34: Curious's ZvZ is actually really good. He took out Cezanne in the qualifiers.

Statistically MC is still the best PvZ in GSL I believe(correct me if I'm wrong), and in international events he has a 73 percnet winrate as well. He had some poor games lately but I think it's partly a result of the matchup just destroying protoss players minds in korea.

He said during the selection that his PvZ is unbeatable right now. ^^;
I actually don't think it's just metagame or "imbalance" right now that's been giving MC a hard time in PvZ. Moon beat MC at a LAN in Beijing just a few weeks ago, and he wasn't doing anything groundbreaking or new. Wasn't even using the favored ling/infestor style. (I mean, MC lost on close spawn Metalopolis, which is. Um. Yeah. So it's not just metagame or the ling/infestor combo or what-not. I think his PvZ is legitimately slumping.)

Most of those wins and that win percentage were inflated in the old days where he used to be unbeatable at pvz. His play against LosirA in the recent Up/Down was pretty weird and he's lost a string of zvps lately, even at international events he's looked very mortal against mediocre zergs, whilst still winning against strong international TvP players like select. Personally I think Jyp looks really good vs zerg, but it's hard to say who the best PvZ player is these days as they mostly struggle.

Select has beaten A LOT of Korean Protosses now, so he has a chance against Alicia.
Naniwa is probably not gonna win.
I'd love for Sase to get rid of Fruitdealer, just so we don't have to hear from his fan boys about how he is still a valid competitor.
Also, my personal wish is for MC to drop down to code B. Your an evil person....... >.> What do you want 21 terrans in code s??!?!? jk, but seriously why? Protoss can't afford to be dropping more players into code b

My goodness, there are no TvT's in the ro32. In fact there is only one mirror matchup, and it's ZvZ :O

hmm this is more interesting than Code S groups I wished tastosis would cast it =/ Select has a good chance, he's TVP is one of the best (foreign wise ofc) so he can win unless he just choke and play badly. Not really a bad bracket for foreigners
