Sadly he isn't Sase but he could play like him if he wasn't so lazy. No but seriously Fruit is going to get smashed. He's always been pretty weak against toss and has played terrible game after terrible game lately. Sase on the other hand might ladder for upwards of 12 hours and has gotten as high as top 20 GM. Like Kiwikaki he seems to generally be a pretty intelligent player and isn't afraid to try something unique so not only can he beat fruit straight up he'll probably have a few tricks to throw him off. The only terrible game he's played lately is actually against Jinro. Before that, he looked solid against Ganzi and smashed Maru so hard into the ground it wasn't even funny. Before that, he looked hopeless in the Up/Down groups and his last GSL Code S group. But then before that, his ZvP looked quite strong against Ace and had it not been for one dumb decision that spiraled out of control, he would've made it past the first round of the ST. And before that ... he played against NesTea? So it's less "he is always terrible all the time" but "his play seems to suffer from peaks and valleys." I'm going to assume he practices when he's got a tournament engagement to keep, but doesn't practice otherwise. Still, you're sort of right. Sase should by all rights be able to take him just based on how much practice he's been doing lately. But then again, his PvZ is pretty terrible. Just like FD's ZvP. So it should be a facepalmingly bad-but-entertaining trainwreck of a game, I feel. :D

The series against Ganzi was kinda bad by both players but fruit threw away a lead in game 1 and proceeded to get demolished in game 2 so I wouldn't call that solid. Also, I said terrible games lately. Going back all the way to May was the last time fruit looked anything close to a code S level zerg when he lost to nestea. It's hard to gauge Sase's current pvz since he hasn't played too many zerg in tournaments lately. Can't take a lot from ladder games, but he's looked pretty solid even against zerg when I've watched his stream. It's clearly his weakest but it will be more than enough to take fruit.

Also is it sad that I am fearful for MC??? Monster is not even the favourite in the match and it makes me worried -- but at least he did not get IMYoda (Can you imagine MC's rage if he was 1/1/1'd twice in a Bo3 -- he looked pretty mad when Puma did it to him at his last foreign tournament although that was not a Bo3)
