Select vs Korean protoss in the last month or so 2-1 over killer at iem 0-3 loss to MC at iem 2-0 over trickster at mlg 2-0 over liquid hero at mlg
I'd say he has a shot at Alicia, it's not a given that he'll win but it's also not a given that he'll just fail completely. How he'd do if he got past Alicia is a complete mystery however.

Oh wow, SeleCT gets a god at PvT in the first round? Ouch. MC and HERO HWAITING !

Say goodbye to some of your favourites ladies and gentlemen. I doubt we will be seeing some of them again.
Edit: I should add that the foreigners seem to have decent chances in the ro32, however I doubt any of them will get to up & down matches, maybe SaSe if he doesn't have nerves. Select has picked up his form recently and with him and NaNiwa being on the same team perhaps they have been training well and we might be in for a surprise.

if all else fails select can just practice 1-1-1.

hp[efully Nani and Sase should both get through their 1st round which should be enough to get into coda a for next season?(if they are there for that long) and well Sjow should be able to beet an underperforming Maka!!!
Select though :S Hope the best but Alaicia can be so good at times!!!

Yup. Just another mindlessly overhyping, reminds me back when people were talking for every half decent foreigner, "Ah well if he just could go to Korea, he would do great in GSL" , if i got quarter every time i heard that...
But anyhow, lets just hope we will get good games, with alot of actions, and not much blunders. And whoever plays better win.
Some interesting matches incoming, and nice to see not so many terrans there, considering they all migrated to Code S lol, and Code A got stacked with people getting thrown away from Code S by terrans : /

No he doesn't. Select's win ratio vs P is 61%, his vT and vZ are both 60%. He is definitely solid vs any match up though.
Godly would be Nestea's vZ at 92% and vP at 87%.

If i remember correctly select himself said that he feels very confident at TvP right now since thats pretty much the only matchup he practiced at all during the last weeks and therefore he is not as confident in TvZ.

Never count out fruitdealer, not saying this as a fan - but his risky play always has a chance to pay off in my view.

Do you guys still counter SelecT as a *foreigner*? I mean, he is indeed under the *foreign* training, but I can't think of him as of a *foreigner* somehow... :O
I fear for Naniwa. Although I fear for every goddamn protoss now... Either way it's promising to be somewhat interesting start. I might catch some of the games.

I was happy to see that this is the first code a in ages where terrans arent the majority... But then i realized that was because so many non terrans got knocked out of code s and now im sad again...

MCs turn to climb to code A championship and get back into code S !!

Haha and to think I was just complaining about Code S being hard to predict. I'm excited for the increasing number of foreigners participating in Code A, I wonder if any of them will ever make it to Code S, it seems nearly impossible with the amount of solid Korean players who are unfortunately stuck in Code A or B. I shouldn't complain too much because I guess that means the level of play increases --> better games!

NOOOOOOO ALICA vs SeleCT!!!
