If someone went tank play, then his opponent would have gone marauder, and stimmed marauders hammer tanks on big open maps like that.

Sure it might not have been over, but for straight up fighting, the tank player would have buffed his rines insanely much, and it'd be up to the other player to force engagements before sieged. I personally disagree though with the hellion comment, since with such a rine ball, you need decent amount of hellions, just to be able to get in range for the terrible attacks(else you just hit 2, maybe 3 rines).

Becuz Demuslim was being so aggressive, KR couldn't transition. could have easily turtled for it with bunkers or something idk, but mass marine/medivac only..seems silver league only would work..

TLO was then able to get a contain out in front of Trickster's base w/bio+hellions, and just ground Trickster down. Trickster did some great DT harass at the last minute, but it didn't do anywhere near enough damage. Second game, Tal'darim Altar, Trickster went for more conservative play - I was watching TLO's screen so didn't catch the exact timing, but he basically went Gateway/Colossi army with a fairly early expansion. The weird thing was TLO took forever to get Vikings out - he kept engaging a 2+ Colossi army with pure bio + ghosts. There was one moment where he was able to split the army, then keep it split with a nuke to zone out the main bulk of Trickster's army, while taking out a small portion, and there was another great moment where Trickster was pulling back his wounded colossi, and out of nowhere this hero marauder comes stimming up and takes out the colossi. Sadly, TLO just kept getting his army wrecked in the middle of the map with colossi, only getting two vikings out by the time Trickster was pushing him into his base, and blink stalkers finished those off. Third game, Metalopolis, Trickster went for the same conservative style of play, getting a second base up fairly fast. TLO went for the same 1-base pressure into expand build. He then did some awesome TLO trickery to get up the ramp and devastate Trickster Moving up with a good sized bio ball + ~3 hellions + ghost before colossi had popped out, he sent a medivac into the main empty that distracted Trickster, and pulled his army back up half the ramp - a great EMP landed on almost (if not all) the sentries as they were bunched on the ramp. After TLO drew Trickster back out down the ramp, he then started a nuke on the ramp - as soon as Trickster pulled back up into his natural, TLO just rushed up the ramp and barely cancelled the nuke at the last second. Trickster managed to really shoot himself in the foot as well - he tried to catch TLO with a FF, but missed the army completely, and ended up FFing himself out of his own main for a good ~15-20 seconds. Trickster was finally able to clean up the attack, but all he had was about 5 probes in the main, 3 gates (no core), and a robo bay (with no robo facility) - his expansion was fully up and running though, and was his only saving grace that let him stay in the game for another few minutes trying everything he could against TLO's 2 bases and constant production. And then we cheered :D Thank you very much sir! Public service!

Well, tank/marine beats any combination of bio unless the bio player just outplays the other guy or "gets lucky" with a doom drop. Marauders vs marine/tank is not a good choice, at all.

If I could, I wouldn't have asked. For the entire time Tastosis were praising WBC for doing unique builds, couldn't they just have easily criticize it for being gimmicky?
