I've barely seen any proper games.
90 times out of 100.
The Korean guy IS better than the foreigner. The dominance they've displayed now at three consecutive MLGs is starting to intimidate the players. I don't blame them at all.
Its more like 100 times out of 100. The very best foreigners in the world are not even Code A material imho and maybe not even Code B level either. Its just amazing how deeply talented and skilled the level of play in Korea is. Honestly the only way the gameplay will get better at MLG is to just invite more and more Koreans or all the foreigners go over to Korea and get insanely good.
You know there are numberous foreigners competing in Code A right?
And Huk is in the Ro8 of Code S?
You realize Huk and everyone thats in Code A is living in Korea right?
please don't start that "living in korea = korean vs foreigner in korea is still foreigner" shit here. this topic isn't the place for it

That's mostly because there are so many top Koreans invited and so few EU players. With Mana, Dimaga, Tarson etc. this would look very different.
Somehow I highly doubt that.
If you saw how thoroughly thrashed Thorzain and Naniwa are getting in the GSL right now you'd understand that it isn't just the North American and Korean gap that's huge it's also the Korean/European gap as well.
Not saying it wouldn't be better than having some of the lower tier players in the pools replaced with some European pros, but I don't think it would make much difference in unseating the dominance the Koreans are displaying.
I guess you haven't been watching GSTL if you think Thorzain and Naniwa are getting "thoroughly thrashed"
Because F.United getting All Killed by BoongBoongPrime. We isn't evidence of a thrashing.
I've been watching the Team League. I've seen some stellar play out of Thorzain on occasion, wish I could say the same thing about Naniwa.

What about Huk in code S and all the Europeans in code A?
Every single european got beaten XDXDXD I have no fucking clue why people are trying to use that a reference, HuK is no longer a foreigner really, considering he has lived in Korea for the past 9(?) months.
I had paused the streams to go for dinner, so I was ~45 minutes behind. Finished game 1 of Idra vs Noblesse on Metalopolis, and proceeded to skip forward ~10 minutes to skip the chit-chat between casters.
Ah, great - the game on Shakuras has already started. Noblesse makes quick work of it, good game! Looking forward to g3. But what's this, Husky and Day[9] seem to think the series is over? Surely the score is 1-1 right now and they're mistaken. Better check the teamliquid LR thread even though I'm a bit behind.
My face when I realized Idra did a 5-minute GG on Shattered Temple that I completely skipped without realizing. o_O

They do seem to be straying away from what makes Tastosis so Tastosis-y, if you know what i mean, their casting of the actual game is as sick as always but they lack they jokey, banter that gets you through the stages of the game where not alot is happening.
Artosis probably can't criticize the players here too much because the players actually listen to his cast. The korean GSL players probably has no idea that they are being harshly criticized by a caster so Artosis has more lee way to act high and mighty. Those "terrible" Koreans that Artosis looks down upon can beat most of the players here.
