Why don't they have an observer in each of the pool games and just switch between games on the main casting stages like Rotti and that do during ESL games... they even flick between games as exciting stuff is going down...
If MLG wants gold memberships maybe have more games showing rather then a stream just teasing the shit out of us by having a camera 10 metres away from the players monitors showing us some obscure view and trying to guess who wins via body language of the players after a score screen appears lol.

I've barely seen any proper games.
90 times out of 100.
The Korean guy IS better than the foreigner. The dominance they've displayed now at three consecutive MLGs is starting to intimidate the players. I don't blame them at all.
Its more like 100 times out of 100. The very best foreigners in the world are not even Code A material imho and maybe not even Code B level either. Its just amazing how deeply talented and skilled the level of play in Korea is. Honestly the only way the gameplay will get better at MLG is to just invite more and more Koreans or all the foreigners go over to Korea and get insanely good.
You know there are numberous foreigners competing in Code A right?
And Huk is in the Ro8 of Code S?
You realize Huk and everyone thats in Code A is living in Korea right?

They do seem to be straying away from what makes Tastosis so Tastosis-y, if you know what i mean, their casting of the actual game is as sick as always but they lack they jokey, banter that gets you through the stages of the game where not alot is happening.

That's mostly because there are so many top Koreans invited and so few EU players. With Mana, Dimaga, Tarson etc. this would look very different.
Somehow I highly doubt that.
If you saw how thoroughly thrashed Thorzain and Naniwa are getting in the GSL right now you'd understand that it isn't just the North American and Korean gap that's huge it's also the Korean/European gap as well.
Not saying it wouldn't be better than having some of the lower tier players in the pools replaced with some European pros, but I don't think it would make much difference in unseating the dominance the Koreans are displaying.
I guess you haven't been watching GSTL if you think Thorzain and Naniwa are getting "thoroughly thrashed"

You know those foreigners got invited from MLG, right. And you what happened to them, don't you.

The game quality mostly. Give them epic games and they'll give you great casting.
When the games are horrible in GSL, they salvage it by ridiculing the noobs. Can't really do that in GSL especially since most of these guys are their friends.
If haypro was some random zerg in code A, artosis would have demolished him.

bitbybit begs to differ
Korean ALL INS do work vs Koreans especially in TvP. It's not a strategy issue. It's a player issue.
Yes thats true, but I feel like the foreigners shouldn't do these all ins because they don't really have much experience with them since in our scene chessing is a bit more uncommon than in korea. I also tend to think that foreigners are much more even matched to the koreans in the late game than in these kind of filigree situations in the early and mid game. I think because the korean games last shorter in general the heavy practice they got favoure there early game more than there late game. For an example series look at alive vs Darkforce at the NASL finals where alive just didn't know what to do in the lategame.
not really, a lot of foreigners try and grab a cheap win vs the koreans precisely because they know that taking it into the late game will give the korean a better chance

Great post. Add insight or you just sound retarded. Results clearly speak for themselves.

What about Huk in code S and all the Europeans in code A?

Totally agree, get the good game on stage. The great thing about GSL is, every game is quality, less idle time.
