With charge, he could have beaten the tanks up really bad, then let his colossus do the dmg. Exactly what I was thinking, instead he invested in just a couple of phoenix. Without those Phoenix he would have lost all the previous attacks :X

When you just say 1-1-1, you can't expect people to read your mind. Are you sure you're not the one with 5 IQ? Puzzle lost his base and good number of probes to the "failed marauder helion brainfart"
Ryung actively harassed all game and had a better engagement at the end.

This is so annoying for puzzle, it looks like a 1/1/1, but actually it's just a bio expand. But puzzle can't know this

sad to see puzzle lose like that after he played his heart out.. ryung did a half assed, horribly executed allin while floating 800mins off 1base but still managed to win t.t

It is if the game is interesting and not one-sided, while also having things not seen to much, like marine/tank, the floating factory and viking sniping etc.
I'm not impressed by someones ability to stay <500 minerals on 2base anymore, sorry.

Because that seems to be the meaning it has had since 1 year.
The 1 Barracks, 1 Factory, 1 Starport part refers to building them in this order. Most "1-1-1"s are 3-1-1 because most T players build 2 additional Barracks.

Lol, Wolf's even got original names for his builds

Oh thank god. Ryung is expanding. Puzzle wins

So maybe you want to thinkg about that for a minute. But probably you won't.

But that's what the 1/1/1 refers to since beta. It's 1 rax -> 1 fact -> 1 port. That is 1/1/1

It does. Because there is a working unit variant just makes the 1-1-1 even scarier now. 1-1-1 builds evolve faster than the defenses to counter them and they already have a crazy winrate.

That was actually a really cute game from Ryung. He didn't really use the imbalanced 1-1-1 build, but he used something similar, and Puzzle had no clue what was going on. Ryung did a great job managing the information that Puzzle recieved.
But Puzzle had chances to win that. The difference was that Puzzle's control wasn't so hot at times, and that Ryung played really safe, yet still managed to put a ton of pressure on Puzzle. The result was that Puzzle had no idea what to expect, and was forced into as much a safe style as Ryung.
That's a huge advantage for Ryung, because terran can play that type of style (lift cc, mules, ect.) and protoss cannot. Really smart mindgames and execution from Ryung, even as Puzzle did a pretty good job of figuring out Ryung's intentions anyway.
