Dude, I used to SG all the time scouting 1-1-1. It absolutely demolishes if Terran move out early but it doesn't do anything to a later push with more marines and scv's, you invested so much on Phoenix that you don't have many gateway units and no AOE to deal with the ball of marines/scvs

Oh btw I'm not one of these scrubs whinging about the build, I personally think it's quite easy to hold.

It still would have been different results than any of the current 1/1/1 tear-feasts, win or lose. And it was looking like he would have won regardless of getting the free banshees.

You clearly weren't watching or lack some serious understand of the game if all he had left was "a few stalkers that were badly damage" in the middle of the map. You don't need to lose your expansion and workers to be almost dead. If you lose your army while the opponent retains a critical amount of units then you are dead. Isn't that basic starcraft?

No, we are not mainly looking for a buff - we are looking for a way how to perfectly counter this build! The amount of skill to stop this is really high and we would love to watch one Terran execute this build good and a protoss holding it.

Puzzle has shown the best counter to this build so far but asd didn't execute it perfectly. It's a really good study example though and I'm happy to have seen this build by Puzzle, it gives us hope!

Yeah the Phoenix killed 2 harassing Banshees, but did asd have to harass? Would a few probe kills (which he didn't even get) really make that much of a difference?

edit: basically I'm trying to say that the harassment seems like something that would be nice if it does damage, but it's a risk and isn't necessary for the push to work

Puzzle is really good at delaying these 1 base all-in's by engaging in the middle of the map. Gives his 2nd base econ more time to kick in.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Because he almost lost all his stalkers before killing all the tanks? Now imagine if there were 3 banshees and an extra tank in that army.
