Didn't MC go phoenix against you on Lost Temple back in January, and you beat him? What has changed that much for protoss?

You actually think you have room to scan in a build where you cut scvs at 23 and is made to rape fast expands t.t?
Like, its an allin, its not a safe build where you dont take risks... You are not gonna scout phoenix openings. Phoenix openings are such a tiny subset of P openings, so Im not even making a balance statement here, Im just saying they are very good at stopping 1/1/1, which they are because you get a free banshee almost all the time and negate pdd completely.

True, but a large part of the DPS and annoyance of the 1-1-1 are the presence of the Banshees. The banshees tear apart gateways and immortals.Wouldn't the lack of banshees, allow the toss to get a larger amount of Immortals/Zealots, and just get a few nixes (1-2), suicide them into the Terran's army to lift Tanks for a bit.

We had already seen phoenix against 111 before, a few times. Very few wins and ofc a few losses as well.

If you have no banshees, you lose all their DPS, which is what so many people complain about. The phoenixs are already there lifting your tanks (sure they'll die but they won't fire for a volley or two). Now you have zlots and sentries against only rines + tanks when they wall down. And you have more. It's not like the phoenix die instantly too. I don't get what you want out of getting vikings.
