I root for the Swedes because they seem like genuinely quality people. Great people. Not because they are swedish. We got to know them. Plus, they're open-minded and dedicated enough to TRAIN in Korea. Naniwa will do ANything to be the best. Sase won't leave Korea until he retires SC2. Jinro's been in KOrea for quite a while. And You know all about Huk's dedication to SC2, freaking hard-core.
Plus these are open-minded enough to adapt to a completely different culture than they are used to.
+1 to myself

I wish SaSe could have demonstrated his full potential there.
That blink push in game 1 came down to the wire even after being fairly behind because of the failed DT. I feel if he had some solid strategies under his belt he would be a force to be reckoned with.
He needs to have a big ol' conversation is HuK because his forcefields and blink micro were brilliant.

Sase has no team and Thorzain prioritizes the Blizzcon qualifier like every reasonable person would've. Naniwa did too but i hop he can beat Check anyways.

I'd say he's on par with Nightend. are you fuckin joking ? why are you insulting sase? sase is the 2nd best eu toss after naniwa
2nd best toss? that is a joke yes?

So often do I see "Damnit I got my liquid bet wrong, but at least *player they like* won." Meh... I guess it's just different opinions. Well, I'm actually really far down (~2000-3000), so like you say it's just for fun. Some days I feel like betting on who I want to win, some days I feel like actually trying to get some of my choices correct. Just how I roll, man.

do anyone knows where nani and sase for going to stay in korea? i hope they "join" a team and train with them, just like jinro and huk. or if more top foreigners fly to korea, they should set up a house there

Haven't lots of people been talking about how good Code A is this season and hard the qualifiers are? Now that the foreigners are losing it's to "mediocre" players? Sure it's been disappointing but at least show these other players a little more respect that they got to this spot as well. Code A players are mediocre for Korean players. There are 32 Code S players ahead of them. Would you say that a 54th rank (YugiOh GSL rank) or 86th rank (Sniper and Lucky GSL rank) foreigner is good or mediocre? So DRG is mediocre ?

As it were, he got it too early and was fine. Jinro ,you seem fine with your loss. I know it is crushing but are you doin okay? Keep training and I know ull be back. Yep, Im just back to where I was 1 year ago and thats fine, I will try to avoid the mistakes I made but repeat the good things. Hey jinro! I know you called me stupid before in a thread but I'm you're fan! hopefully you bounce back soon, I think you had that honestly but you got map fucked. On bel'shir beach you tried to build turrets where banelings were but they didn't build because of them I was wondering why you didn't realize banelings? I thought he killed the turret because the SCV was missing too >_< lol, well I think all terrans should go for raven PDD pretty good for mutas aswell. I guess I could make one really early instead of making the reactor, but on this map I want the viking + medivacs so I can clear the super annoying maphack overlords in the center. I've always thought it's stupid that overlords are the only air unit that isn't revealed when its up on high ground. Huh? I thought others weren't as well.. unless they attack. Broodlords aren't revealed even when they attack. OP :o
I joke.. thats interesting!

True. And calling those Korean ¨mediocre¨ when they could pretty much take top 20 in a NA tournament whenever they want because, well, they practice more than anyone is pretty retarded too. And, when I see people question the work ethics of the guys that played today, when they are actually practicing like crazy...

Would love to see the same matches in 1-2 weeks when its fair regarding preparation/training and without jetlag...
Jetlag doesn't make Thorzain cancel that bunker and die because of a roach play he didn't understand.
Just face that there is an experience gap because of how much the Koreans play and how far ahead their strategies are. Naniwa and Sase know this. That's why they have said they're staying in Korea longterm.

At least we have a protoss player in the building that acknowledges the fact that protoss has more than zero harass units. That was sarcasm... Uh huh.. But the thing is, nobody can now rely solely on 2 base timings in sc2 any more. Oh no doubt. Like I said, Sase didn't expand. Both games he had a timing when he could have set up a third. Both games he took WAY too long to pull back. He lost the game.
Still, DT harass is ineffectual against anyone who knows how to play and I wanted to poke some fun at all the people claiming how good DTs are.

Storm drops ara amazing, but you can't compare them to bane drop in therms of cost effectiveness. A wp drop costs 200 + 50/150 for every Templar inside of the wp. A bane drop costs 100 + 50(?)/25.
I don't know why people are theorycrafting it, Sase did nothing to protect his mineral lines, a single cannon can pull aggro from banes the second they drop.

Check has been in code s forever, and has managed to stay in code a fromm last season, i dont think hes going anywhere anytime soon, as far as i know hes a mass ladder player he has something like the most games played on the korean server (for pro players) overall.
Edit: or at least he used to have the most.
Check is by far the highest ranked Korean Zerg of the 4 playing today, he's ranked 34th by GSL points.
Naniwa will be lucky to take 1 game off him after the massacre we just witnessed.

naniwa is good, dont get me wrong. i think he is def. if not the best, then top2 europeans. but his pvz is just abysmal at the moment. ret 4-1ed him few days ago at blizz invitational. his pvt and pvp are solid, but pvz... i think check's got this
