But these are some of the best we (foreigners) have. And their opponents aren't even close to the top Korean players.

Its pretty depressing.

lol did they rly just say that SaSe played well? two of the worst games I ever saw of him. Seems to be hard for him to handle his nerves, because normally he's like ten times better...

also Sniper played pretty good, still a bit disappointed in SaSe, imo worst performance of all foreigners today...

Well I was also suprised about Thorzain, I think he did a good job, better than expected. At least this is what I think.

And now: Naniwa fighthing!!!!!!! come on nani, you can do it... Nani after his win: "It's ok..." calling it now!!!

or 4 sentry drop :D

Or one sentry Templar drop....

FF both ends of the mineral line then storm it. Zomg terrible terrible damage potential.

Though Warp Prism's are much more fragile than Medivacs/OL's.

Guys, please remember they just came back from Assembly/Blizz Invitational/CPL and arrived in Korea yesterday. They had no time for preparations/enough practise and they will probably all suffer from jetlag.

Would love to see the same matches in 1-2 weeks when its fair regarding preparation/training and without jetlag...

the koreans were jetlagged at MLG too and had to play a lot more games and that turned out pretty well for them

Sad to see foreigners lose, but the more protoss loses, the more I can lol at how zergs still claim P imba, so that's some silver lining anyways.

Hopefully Nani can show some foreigner strength, I thought T-zain was gonna do it after G1, but alas.

They may not be playing their best and are relatively new to the Korean scene, but compared to Korean players who attended NASL, MLG that were also jet lagged and relatively kicked ass, that really doesn't say much.

I think my mistake is that I showed him too many hellions. I knew he had 2 spines, so I should have just showed him like 4-5 to be consistent with what I did game 1, then he wont get a roach warren in time.

As it were, he got it too early and was fine.

Jinro ,you seem fine with your loss. I know it is crushing but are you doin okay? Keep training and I know ull be back.

Yep, Im just back to where I was 1 year ago and thats fine, I will try to avoid the mistakes I made but repeat the good things.

Hey jinro! I know you called me stupid before in a thread but I'm you're fan! hopefully you bounce back soon, I think you had that honestly but you got map fucked. On bel'shir beach you tried to build turrets where banelings were but they didn't build because of them I was wondering why you didn't realize banelings?

I thought he killed the turret because the SCV was missing too >_<

lol, well I think all terrans should go for raven PDD pretty good for mutas aswell.

I guess I could make one really early instead of making the reactor, but on this map I want the viking + medivacs so I can clear the super annoying maphack overlords in the center.

Switch it out to a tech lab on another building after making a Medivac for your Push and Viking to clear out Overlords. You're right that getting that Viking to get some map control along with your Hellions is definitely the priority at that point in the game. You don't have to get a Raven SUPER early, you just need to get one:

1. In time for when he gets Burrow.
2. When you push out and try to take the map.

There's no real need to get a Raven out before both these events. But after those events, most Terrans should definitely get one IMO.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

I've always thought it's stupid that overlords are the only air unit that isn't revealed when its up on high ground.

Huh? I thought others weren't as well.. unless they attack.

How about the caveat of something thats actually useful in a practical build order on a consistent basis, templar drops are a surprise in a surprise build, they are not effective harassers due to their enormous cost and risk. Hence why they're never used in that fashion [I can literally only think of minigun doing it in the IPL]...

I dunno i would say Check is AT LEAST as good as ret (if not better) and naniwa was having a hard time with ret last weekend.

Check has been in code s forever, and has managed to stay in code a fromm last season, i dont think hes going anywhere anytime soon, as far as i know hes a mass ladder player he has something like the most games played on the korean server (for pro players) overall.

Edit: or at least he used to have the most.

Sure, but SaSe is just a midtier foreigner. Don't forget that.

Lol he's actually one of the best. If you watched any of his recent tournament showings, he went undefeated in his group at Dreamhack, beating Idra and he also beat Naniwa 3-1 in the tournament to get to Korea. Additionally he got second at the CPL recently, not dropping a game until he played MKP.

He dropped a game vs Lovecd I believe but you still make valid points
