It was a LOT easier back then. There are more and more quality Koreans coming through now, and back then the gap between foreigners and Koreans wasn't as big.

The last time a foreginers qualified through "code B" was before it was even code B, aka Open Season 3 when Jinro/Idra/Sen/Ret/Haypro qualified. Torch/Artosis/TLO all qualified in the first two opens.

The GSL (or SC2) wasn't as established, either, so there were a lot of teamless guys qualifying.

It was much easier in the early days since most Koreans weren't on teams. Now, most teams have tons of prospects who live in the house and practice on a strict schedule. Teams like MVP and ZeNex pop out new players like Sniper/Xtreme every Code A it seems like.

They're casting games here and there. And they'll be casting the finals for all the brackets. But it's mostly downtime, results and interviews. Still better than f5ing the thread for results.
