DTs can be hit by melee units, banshees cannot.

I'm not saying anything about overall game balance, but its just absurd to put banshees on the same level.


Takes more resources and time to get a DT, and banshee's dont always need cloak. Really they're two different units that can't be compared.

The big thing was that Choya had good scouting, he saw no gas for a long time in Jinro's base, so he knew he was going to expand. For Jinro, his SCV barely scouted anything other than the natural expansion going up. You know his SCV died at the ramp to the main and didn't see any sentries or number of units, so Jinro's response afterwards was very very bad.

I hate when people say that. Just because someone isn't a very good player doesn't mean they don't understand the game by watching and replays. Some people know a lot about the game but they have terrible mechanics. I wonder if NFL.com will add a feature where you can block anyone who's not in the NFL on commenting on the rules changes.

Terran has scan earlier on, while Protoss needs Robo and observer or cannons.
Gateway, Cyber Core, Twilight, Dark Shrine vs Barracks, Factory, Starport with Tech Lab.
Banshees can be repaired, DTs die in 2 seconds.
Banshees can run away, DTs once found are dead.

The only build without a robo bay is 4 gate, and dts. Scouting 2 gases pretty much always means banshees. If you scan and if it isnt perfect, dt can get away by right clicking, it doesnt have to be air to move. 2 gas could mean pretty much anything from toss, unlike terran.

They arent comparable in mechanics really (no units are) but they both work as units that simply kill you if you dont have Detection. There lies the point, people call Choya a cheesy noob even though he did a strat that was even less cheesy than the strat Jinro used the game before and it also debunks all this bullshit about how protoss are imba since they "are the only race with units that can straight up kill you". Which is complete bullshit since all 3 races have at least one of those.


The main reason that people are calling Choya a cheesy noob is that he solely won his game through cheese strategies, whereas even if Jinro tried to use a cheese, he won straight-up through macro the game before.

There's nothing wrong with doing doing a cheese now and then just to mix things up, but it is scorned when cheese is the only thing you can accomplish. Now, I know that choya's a very nice guy, so I'm going to bash him, but it's not about "hey you cheese and jinro never does."

Like I've said, it's just my opinion in terms of hating DTs, I'm not saying they are imbalanced, they just kill workers so fast that it makes me sad to see one of my favorite players lose to them
