Um no, one turret does not prevent DTs because they can slip in past the turret and hit the other mineral lines that do not have turrets unless the terran parks a large part of their army right at the ramp with the one turret, which gives the map control to the protoss

If DTs did no damage (and Jinro actually saw them, which you'd expect from a progamer), closing that game would be fairly trivial for Jinro. Again, I'd love to see anyone who thinks this build was a "DT expand" show me a high level replay (or preferably several) where a DT expand looks even slightly similar to what choya did and it transitions into a normal midgame. Yeah, cause Jinro can end the game after a 1 Rax expand, while DTs are hitting his army and Jinro has only 2 scans max, and has to watch out for DT backstabs going back into his base. edit- if you think with detection that winning the game is easy, I suggest you watch some GSL. Korean toss do this build all the time.

I wouldn't mind the lack of attention if I was tearing up my group.

DTs cannot float in the empty space in back of your mineral line, banshees can. DTs can be revealed by Command Center, banshees cannot be revealed by Nexus. DTs can be hit by melee units, banshees cannot. I'm not saying anything about overall game balance, but its just absurd to put banshees on the same level. ugh they both have their pros n cons we get it.

That takes serious skills!

Jinro would have had to wait for about 4-6 scans before moving out and by that time Choyas are would have been way bigger. How is it trivial for Jinro to finish the game? He has to trek across the map with invisible units spread out slowing him down the whole way with the only detection he has is scans. I find it pathetic that people have preconceived notions of how things should be and how units can be used.

That however was both bad and strange by Choya. G2 he didn't get abused as much as he did bad decisions. Walling off his ramp = bad, finishing cloak = bad, Losing viking = bad... And so forth. Game 3: He was greedy, Choya got lucky and he won. I wouldn't say that Jinro played that much better than Choya, if at all. You're crazy if you think Jinro didn't play well in Game 1. His micro wasn't spot on, but it was also a ridiculously long game. He completely outplayed Choya in that game. Jinro's real weakness is his early game, but a cheesy player like Choya would never be able to win a macro game against Jinro. And Game 2 Jinro made a few mistakes, but Choya's micro wasn't super good. He got some lucky pick ups, but the real reason why it was so effective is that that build on Metalopolis is broken. It's stupidly powerful and anyone who disagrees obviously hasn't played against it. Also regarding the difference between DTs and Banshees, detection for Terran requires you to get a Techlab Starport, which is not that common due to the fact that reactors are far more efficient and basically early game you never get one unless it's a very specific blind build. For Protoss Robo should be a part of every build, and if you don't have one when Cloaked banshees push, it's probably because you either : A). are playing super greedy (super early Nexus) or B). You're 4 Gating. And as far as Jinro goes, he needs to use all his MULES because otherwise there's no way to keep up with Chronoboost. It's just stupid that if you forget a missile turret at the start you lose, no questions asked. If a Banshee flies into a Protoss base and cloaks no Protoss is going to immediately leave the game, because Banshees will never completely kill a Protoss like DTs will.
