Live report thread equals no balance whining; Balance whining equals warnings and bans! |

he had more probes then losira had drones and more tech. How was that all in? yeah, also when losira takes a early third, punishing that off 2 base isnt all in

it's not all-in, it's technical :D
|
I think 5 years later people will still be debating about whether something is all-in

I don't think your're understanding what I meant. Every time any zerg loses, people say they were greedy and I don't understand where that mentality comes from. Losira lost due to probably never encountering that build before so I'm not sure what "greedy" has anything to do with it.

Attack before 200 food is an all in. Also Cheese. And anything less than 4 bases is a rush.

The commitment of gateway units was a good decision by Tester, it invested alot, especially adding senties, but it paid off :D

In other words, an attack that you have to succeed at or else you can't win.

No, Losira definitely had more drones before Trickster's attack, the observer just happened to show the worker count AFTER Losira had to pull drones off the line to deal with the attack in the main.
so basically everyone who plays against zerg is going all-in, because it's impossible to keep up with drone production?
some people still don't understand the game... and that there's nothing wrong with all-in either. if you lose to an all-in then you were outplayed.

He used void rays to 6 gate into the base.

Losira's fanboy here, but gotta admit that build was pretty cool! still believe that losira will win the next 2 games

It doesn't develop the game and I thought we were past that. I mean, yeah, well done, good build order and decent execution, but c'mon. . .
Hopefully he has something else in his arsenal and won't continue to do them.
If you dont pressure zerg early, their macro gets WAY too massive to deal with. Then it becomes a insane game of "Praying the zerg makes a mistake" ala MC vs Sen style.
If you let a zerg sit there for 20 minutes and dont do any attacking at all, you already lost. So, "timing attacks" are REQUIRED to beat a zerg.

Is it just me, or does the studio look like it has way less people than it usually does?
|
Good timing attack by Tester, still have to go with Losira though, 3-2.

Trickster might want to work on his VR hold charge micro.

Anything other than base building and defense until the other player leaves from boredom is cheese.
Of course.
