As for finals in general, I think what Mr. Chae (I think?) said after NASL finals is true- when you give players a week+ to prepare, you don't get games as epic because people just practice cheese/snipe builds which are nowhere near as exciting. Want some weird improvised shit/surprise strategies like Sen vs MC, but you're not going to get that when you can scout and work on snipe builds on your opponent for a week.

I can't see it mattering too much if both players are getting the same week to practice.

Well that's lovely, I'm lagging already on SQ.

Hm, it seems that the new Up/Down format doesn't favor the runner-up at all relative to the other Top8 players of Code A. Am I interpreting it correctly in that everyone will just be thrown into group play? Does the runner-up get to choose anything?

If so, it's another way that Gom kinda messes up the up/down or Code S things, and why alot of people say that Code B/A are better than S- if say person ranked 8 gets into a really weak group but is really bad, and the runner-up gets into a group of death, then you have some weak players moving up while really bad players get knocked down.

I've never been more pleased to see pvp finals.. feels like every player in code A has been terran until now.

Not for determining who's better, just in terms of how good the games are- you don't get anything as epic as the Puma/MC finals just cause polished snipe builds are actually really boring to watch.

That's gg game 1... that was fast
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞
