So many zealots with charge and they only managed to take out 5+- marauders. The same is true for zerglings and ultras against critical mass of ranged units both melt instantly. Why would ranged units (the ones that have the advantage of being ranged and which get better the more of them there are) be able to run faster than all melee units except the one that gets 1 shotted anyways (zerglings). In sc1 zealots and ultras were strong because they were able to connect to their enemies, here they are close to useless because of the fact that ranged units can outrun them while shooting at them, and i dont really like that mechanic. Shouldnt they have some kind of advantage over ranged units in order to compensate for the missing ranged attack and be somewhat viable? They dont deal more damage, they dont run faster, they arent more tanky than ranged units (and even if they were, it doesnt matter at this point in time because they can be kited) and they dont have a slow to stop ranged units from kiting them, instead the marauders have the slow, which is game design i cant even start to comprehend. Instead we see all melee units get shredded without doing much in a straight up fight, everygame. | ||

That's mainly because of how unit clumping works. If there's no space in the front line(like when marauders are marching up a ramp) only the first couple zealots will be able to land hits, they'll die incredibly quickly, and so on until all the zealots are dead. Toss *can* deal with this with force fields, or we can overcome it with our AoE units. | ||

Noblesse looked like he was going for a funky 2rax with a reaper into fast stim, then dropped 2 more rax when he scouted that weird Pylon at the gold. Then Hero scouted what he was doing so dropped a ton of gates as well. | ||
