But Stalkers versus Roaches and it's a completely different story.
This is so true :[]
Well its a well known fact that zerg players complain the most lol. For some reason they think amoving with roaches takes more skill than going blink stalkers and actually have to -gasp- MICRO
Logic usually helps but I think most of them just watch idra everyday and believes everything he says.

He overreacted to huk's 6gate which just put him behind and huk exploited it by expanding and going blinkstalkers
Overreacted to 6 gate. How many less Roaches and Zerglings should he have made?
I was thinking of them saying Naniwa is comparable to Korean Toss. Who exactly are the top Korean toss?
There is obviously MC at the top... but who else? In terms of some decent results in the past, Tester, HongUn, San, Inka, Alicia? Not many strong Protoss that I can think of... so I guess Naniwa really is on their level.

yep. also don't like the infestor in this situation. costs way too much.
lol, whenever he goes hydras against blink stalkers people say he needs infestors. whenever he goes infestors, people say he needs hydras. it came down to the upgrades, the late roach speed, no burrow, shit like that. not just what units he did/didn't get
Or for this specific time dropping a couple spine crawlers would have almost completely denied that push by HuK and giving him time to get his extra base up and infestors to RoflStomp through HuKs army. Sloppy decision making cost Idra that game had nothing to do with balance...
eh, he was on even bases with protoss, dunno if spine crawlers would have been that good an idea. his roach speed finished at like 12:00 though, which is really damn late.. it's hard to keep up with protoss on upgrades because of chrono, but he could have done better there... huk had no obs, burrow means that toss has to invest in robo or else zerg can do his own micro. also, infestors were a bit late and creep spread could have been far better
blink stalkers are really fucking strong though. completely aside from balance, more protoss need to use that shit it's so good.
On June 26 2011 03:37 Micket wrote: Hmm, ok this is what happened that game. Huk goes for a all in attack off 2 base with blink and fast upgrades. Idra scouts it, so builds units. Since this all in doesn't even force protoss to commit to an attack because BLINK STALKERS ARE ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED! (ie, doesn't put toss behind in tech, or upgrades), Huk just expands cos he can. Is it just me, or does this feel kinda dirty. If Idra didn't scout 7 gateways, Huk attacks which may or may not work. If Idra scouts it, Huk isn't screwed in the slightest. He just expands instead. So in short, Huk can either all in or expand from his build and be ahead in both cases. Obviously, this is only applicable on Crevasse because of the super easy 3rd. Idra obviously cannot attack that 3rd with roach ling vs blink stalker.
Edit: Spines are NOT the answer. They are on equal bases. Spines will put you even further behind.
Huk goes allin? you cant be serious.. since when can you allin on 3 base like that.
Not sure why people complain so much about blink stalkers. Try actually doing it and see how hard it is vs decent zergs to pull off. A lot harder than zergs just amoving with roach/lings lol...
Are u serious? Blink micro is the easiest micro in the game. Im terrible, but i can blink micro and rape zerg.
