MKP back in form.
One day people will realise players like MC, Nestea, MKP don't play overpowered races, they're just overpowered players. People weren't claiming imbalance, merely discussing proper ways to scout and react to ghosts, when Medrea offered completely absurd and nonsensical solutions, that's all.

Losing a few units is overcommital. At masters level, which you say you are, you shouldn't lose a whole lot unless you literally walk up the ramp into the bunker and start wailing at it with no idea whats up there. And yeah i mean Ghosts..... should be..... pretty good against gateway units. Thats why your able to stop them or do damage before they come out if they come out too quickly. Its ridiculous cause I am talking about builds and players who try and win games. Not builds and players who make 2 - 3 units and make ghosts. Anyways... i was going to reply to your whole post of lol. but Thats what we are talking about yes. Thats what scouting the front can almost exactly tell you if you can count units. Since the game is SO EASY. Ok, ok, you poked his ramp. And since you can count units and I can't. You saw nothing but x number of marines and x number of bunkers. How can you tell between: [1] Cloak Banshee vs Blue Flame Drop? [2] SCV All in vs Expansion? [3] Ghosts vs BattleCruisers(LOL)? I can throw more @ you but I wanna see ur ridiculous answer to these. 1. Nope I cant, same response though. Getting that robo out unless I know they are NOT doing number 1 and doing something I know I wont need a robo for (rare). Robo helps defend the typical tank follow up after blue flame and observer is right there anyway. 2.You mean the really early 5 minute one? They need low ground barracks to hide, if they are hiding an expo behind the low wall in I will attack a bit later than usual but probably to somewhat greater effect consider the vulnerability of this wall of, more info is in the appropriate thread, 3. Er, I guess not, havent really encountered fast....... battlecruiser...... at all really but I would assume my response in the early game would be similar. I bet 3 gate kills BC rush since BC rush is like, the very definition of greedy overteching. Also generally terrans put there CC within sight range of the ramp so that its mildly close to the natural, if they do not do this then they will have a lot more units at the front anyway, if they are hiding units to fient an expo then you are going to continue pressuring the bunker until they are revealed. Huk does this admirably and really gets a lot of SCV kills, sometimes it can hurt you more than help which is where skill and experience come in, as it should. i didnt ask how u would react. I asked how would u know. you know what u answered. You answered "no, I don't know after poking the ramp. I don't know what the Terran is up to." k thx bye ♥ This is as about as forehead slapping as it can possibly get and I would post a picture of this but since TL doesnt like meme's I willl decline as I like having a clean record. A banshee and a blue flame helion response have somewhat similar responses (at least as far as what you are building) and do not share responses with other all ins, which is fine since the telegraphs are also different. I did not know, that even at this masters level, the concept of checking off strategies via pressure and developing builds that are strong against groups of related builds the opponent has the options of doing, is not present. Especially when this is prevalent in almost every major RTS game since the 90's.
more derail? You say you should know whats happening when you see the front.
Again. How do you know the difference between? cloak banshees / blue flames / ghosts or him just going "LOL he thinks im teching and pulling his SCVs" SIMPLY. SIMPLY by running into bunkers and getting vision - and obviously ur smart enough not to keep losing units and hp to fast DPS marines in bunkers with repair SCVs. behind it.

Your right, scouting the front is bad. Don't do it. Go rock, paper, scissors build and hope for the best. Theres no way. Sorry guys guess I was wrong, cannot tell what Terran is doing until they go down the ramp. Only been playing RTS since Herzog Zwei practically invented it in 1990.

Excuse me. Are you a child? When did I say scouting the front is bad?
You say... Count units properly and you should know whats happening. I say... I counted marines, but he has 5 strategies to choose from, tell me how to scout. You say... Only been playing RTS sinze Herzong Zwei invented in 1990.
I'll say it again. sc2 - isn't simple. You don't scout the front and are in immediate comfort zone.
I'm watching Naniwa stream, you know what he said in chat. "Can't scout that sh*t"... after he got 1 base raven banshee tank scv marine all in'd.

Game is broken, Terran cant be scouted. Game is rock paper scissors. We'll go with that.

good reply. fits with all ur other posts gl hf
hard to believe u would ever lose to terrans cause u know exactly what they are doing since u scout their front. AM I RIGHT?

Well no scouting is infallible, whether or not one player wins or not is down to the individual skill levels of the players, with respect to behind the scenes metagaming of course and the information obtained by both sides.

Are you saying scouting the front doesn't tell you everything u need to know, whilst it does reveal some units, it doesn't tell you almost exactly the Terrans entire plan?
Thats what scouting the front can almost exactly tell you if you can count units

The game is decision based. Scouting costs resources and puts you behind. Not scouting costs intel and can put you behind too. Sometimes the best thing to do is to not scout, macro well, and base trade.

noooooooooooo fruitdealer he had no observer, coulda just burrowed

Keyword almost. You can often say that your opponent is doing a really good XY or Z, or a really bad AB or C.
But no you cant tell anything at all.
July got gipped out IMO. He scouted like 96 percent of Mins base and barely missed the spire.

interesting... well... seems I have to do more than run into bunkers to know what my T buddy is doing. sad times. sad times... indeed

Just watched some of the VoDs, were people balance whining about MKP? If they were it doesn't really make a ton of sense, MKP did a ghost timing but from some of the posts I was thinking he ghost rushed and maybe scanned up the ramp to EMP sentries and roll through...
MKP did gasless 1 rax FE in both games. That is hindered to any kind of standard 3gate pressure (or straight up dies to 4gate). Squirtle chose to do a nexus first build and then a pretty slow 3gate DT expand build when he saw that MKP was going 1rax FE again. I'm pretty sure he could have just 3gate with heavy sentries and FF'd the ramp, walked around the bunker and forced MKP's OC to lift off.

Nah no balance whine (well one guy but that was lawls), just scout...... non balance....... nonwhine. I see protoss doing a lot of 1 gate expand against terran, especially on taldarim, seems pretty stable.
MKP blew out Squirtle with overall better play.

Mules and dances ??? did MKP think this GTSL ??? :D

I think Fruitdealer would have won all the games but he just never got that nice area to engage in the last two, he was always so good about killing the sentrys but maybe teching to broods like that each time was not cost effective enough. Great games nonetheless that was a great night of games!

Not to derail or anything... but I think you have a picture of Puma instead of Ace...
Just sayin'.
