Looks like Squirtle is setting up for almost the exact same midgame as last time.

I'm not sure if it was deliberate, but Squirtle not using blink in the fight and then finally revealing it to chase down the medivacs that overstayed their welcome was awesome. I'd like to think that was an intentional choice having identified he'd win the engagement without using it anyway. He wanted to chip away at the units trapped infront/side of the forcefields before blinking in. No use losing more stalkers than you need/should.
No I meant, as opposed to blinking any stalkers back in while engaging at his choke with standard blink micro, he didn't show it at all and then finally BLUNK Taeja =p
===
Holy shit Taeja is good with ghosts.

That game was godly. Thank you squirtle, TaeJa, and ESV O_O My brain just exploded from how sick that game was. @_@

Nooooooooo, Squirtle.
Oh well. It's Taeja, so it's all right.
Does Squirtle qualify for the monthly finals?

If he had feedback the ghosts it would be a even battle, instead Taeja lost about 40 supply against 100 supply worth of maxed Squirtle. I'm not sure about Squirtles upgrades but thought I saw them chrono´d. Should switch to colossus also.

This is why I can't take this matchup seriously.

Ahh, got ya. Yeah, he probably wanted to catch Taeja's medivacs by surprise.

Zealot/Archon doesn't seem like an effective composition at 200/200. Almost never see a good engagement with it. The zealots can't really get good surface area.
Oh, and ghosts. Ghosts are good.

This was like watching two samurai warriors spend ten minutes in preparations and feint moves, reading each other's minds, and finally engage with a couple of deadly gosu slashes to end it. 10/10

Why? Because taeja went the perfect counter to what Squirtle was doing? Throw in 2 colossus and that engagement would have looked so differently. Taeja had no vikings and no way to re-max as quickly as Squirtle. Sorry that maxing out does not equal win.
This just makes me think of all the QQ from Zergs when they were maxing out on roach/ling against terran and failing.

Ghosts are so powerful. I get the sense that they will get nerfed eventually. Or feedback will get an increase in range so that it's equal with Snipe/EMP.

That would cause so many issues with the ZvP match-up, esp. if the NP nerf goes through. HTs already own infestors pretty hard.

I think you have to put the HTs in a warp prism nowadays. In the mid to late game, T has enough scans and ghosts to get off good shots.

How about reducing range of Snipe/EMP then? I'm sure Zergs would also be happy with that.

I'd quite like to see some toss trying to get big Zealot flanks going if they are sticking Zealot/Archon that late in the game (with only a handful of clumped up HT's ><). With an obs or two to try keep good map awareness it should be plausible to slide a group of zealots out and have them push in from another angle?
Personally I'm a big fan of that kind of Toss play, but with a faster transition back into Colossus. I much prefer it to Colossus into HT at least.

BbongBbong forgot his pool... O_O
Or maybe he's ultra metagaming taeja

Who ever is casting this is awesome. Keep up the good work!

I like it better too, what I prefer is when the P doesn't research storm and invest the money into colossi, while using the templars for feedbacking the medivacs first priority, and ghosts second. Way harder to micro a ghost-templar battle when you have colossi pewpewing at your ghosts.
