Naniwa's army control was horrible. Don't know what was going on with him, but he seems to have tilted hard core after the first game. How can you even say that? Up to the big engagement Naniwa was playing exceptionally. He messed up in the big ball vs ball battle (not to mention forges sniped) and you say he was on tilt? Mistakes happen, this one cost Naniwa the game.

Naniwa's Force Fields didn't help him too much - the Colossi weren't able to engage enough before they died.

Yeah, still frustrating to see though, because Nada didn't have to do anything but 1a into that choke.

Unfortunately with forcefields, terran doesn't have as much of a choice. You could see that over and over, where Nada could not capitalize because of the forcefields.

That was also another mistake for Nani, he had WAAAAAAAAAAY too many sentries in that composition, so his gateway forces just died so fast vs the marauders while his colossus was dancing.

Oh wow, that's some TEEERRIBLE collossus control!!

ROFL, what could Naniwa do? When Nada got to that position Naniwa was fucked, he should have just let that base die.

Nada just a-moved because that Choke favors Terran.

You're right, instead of all of his Colo dying while killing a lot of ground forces, they should all die killing none.

What could Nani do? -_-

It's an amazingly tough choice sometimes. The first game should have tipped him off, though.

He's running off one robo, losing colossus is ridiculously painful if his army could handle the terran. He must have thought it could, so he pulled back. Then he rejudged it, and moved forward to try to hit again, but by then he only had 4. The vikings were just tearing through them regardless.

If his colossus were wiped, his gateway force could not compete with MMM. So his initial decision to pull the colossus was a bad one.

Gateway force can totally compete with MMM when you have good upgrades and the terran has a zillion vikings. Forge snipe made a big diff there.

No doubt that factored in. Also, he probably thought he would end up better off, enough to just wait for his next set of warp ins to replace his gateway units. Just a bad call there.

Wow, yesterday 5/5 liquidbet, today 2/5 :o (voted haypro, strelok and nani)

Anyway, nada bio micro is not spectacular like MKP, but he does subtle things, even in TvT when he dives marines into siege tanks but make very good split. He did again vs colossi today, he selected 2 or 3 MM that were focused and moved them forward so no splash occur. And he repeat that move each time, he's amazing, when I try to do this everything dies before I react :D

Trying to give him an excuse. Otherwise that army control is unacceptable for a player of his caliber. He literally did EVERYTHING wrong that fight.

This is exactly correct, attempting to keep them alive against a large terran army often causes your entire gateway army to die very quickly, and you wind up with a couple of colossus against a huge terran ball.

Hmmm I do wonder what would have happened if Naniwa just sacrificed his collossi to kill as many ground forces as possible and ignore the vikings (as it is his collossi ended up getting destroyed for nothing anyways). But I don't think he would have been in a great position even if he did do that cause of the upgrade disparity.

Anyways very happy to see NaDa win!

Once the viking count gets high enough that they one shot them, yes. Then rebuild with templar. Colossi become crap once the viking count is high :/

Actually watch nada's TvP more closely, his micro is in many places better than MKP's

plus he's still macroing like an utter boss, MKP is bio micro king in TvZ though: dat marine splitting.

I think the problem with Game 1 was that Naniwa didn't get Zealot charge.

And Game 2 (while the forge snipes were important), Naniwa messed up that battle at the gold big time. Had his Zealots behind his Stalkers so they couldn't charge in. Also think he could have gotten storm before expanding to the Gold.

Money goes to a good cause? You mean tacit approval of Gretorp's awful casting? nothx incontrol.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88
