To begin with DongRaeGu got ahead when MMA let him take 3 bases and fully saturate them as well. He was in a winning position untill he a-moved his huge army into siege tanks. He should have been more active with his mutas to take out siege tanks before rolling in with lings. He would have won the game right there if he had slightly reduced the number of siege tanks. Throughout the rest of the game DRG had a good bunch of mutas that I felt he could get a bit more value of. Again sniping a bit more siege tanks or whatever he could pick off would put him ahead and have his lings do more damage. It may have been nerves though, flying mutas over enemy territory can be fatal if missmicroed for a second so I think he didnt want to risk it. Besides that I think they both played phenomenaly especialy considering it was an ace match of the finals where nerves could get really bad. TLDR version (which may or maynot be mention int he above) 1. Losing that clutch battle where he had an overhwlming size army. 2. No upgrading 3. Keyborad failure. (biggest reason imo. His play was so clean and crisp beforehand)

DRG's lings were 2 attck 1 armor but the tanks were +2 attack for MOST of the game and he finished +3 by the end. It is a huge difference having a +1 armor above the tanks because then Tanks dont one-shot Lings. The fact that tanks were splattering clutters of banes/lings was a BIG factor in why DRG lost a lot of those battles so badly.

MMA was all over the place with his drops, that's why DRG couldn't use his mutas more. He had to defend...

His out-of-this-world snipe took out MVP's second best player and then he destroyed Violet, one of MVP's Code S players. If he didn't show up, MVP probably rolls over them if MMA can't win a few in a row.

So far, DRG only showed this one incredibly powerful early defense into high-econ muta harass + Banelings that just seems unbeatable by Terrans atm (well unless DRG hands out 30 banelings for free like he did). But DRG still has yet to show me the level of depth and reactionary skills that Nestea has. I believe DRG to have better macro than any other zerg. He doesn't skip a beat. If you watched his stream he could also see he's not like any other zerg. I wouldn't put him above nestea just because of experience and maybe some micro/overeager issues. With time though, he'll pass them!

Violet gave up the lead for clan MVP because that allowed SlayerS to get the final pick going into the last match. Not only that, MMA was also fresh off the bench and ready to go while DRG had to go through 1 player already

There were a lot of times in the last game where doa and moletrap were trying to yell on top of each other.....nothing to do with the excitement from the korean commentators.....they were dual "solocasting" lol....I believe that was the pont of the poster and not the fact that they were excited. And yes....dual scream bad....scream one at the time good ^^

Because a single guy can't cheese his way through to the top, you need to have a good game plan prepared for each and every potential matchup, have a lot of depth in your team and raise the general level of the team's playing qualities a lot higher as opposed to having one or two aces and the rest is substandard.
