Well to be fair I think its more exciting for both scenes to have a foreigner in the finals. Look how exciting the W3 finals was with the biased casters and all XD

they have good speed skaters though. Their speed skating in fact almost caused an international Fiasco between the US and Korea, with the 2002 Olympics. The Korean athlete was ahead of the US athlete, but the Korean athlete was disqualified for blocking the US athlete. South Korea protested this, and lots of feelings were hurt.
Yeah I remember that man. I love speed skating. =)

We're all following SC2 in our spare time. Their job is literally to follow and cast SC2. In terms of insight into player and tournament history the Code A casters are so much better than Tastosis. They really need to do more research. Or at least have someone providing them with intel as would be the case in other "sports". If his job is to cast and follow SC2 don't you think they deserve their time off like you take time to watch sc2, or maybe you should constantly be working ?

That's awesome. OGN director knows how to bring up audience and players' emotions.

I personally am a very busy person. I just spend free time watching and reading about SC2. Part of someone's job as a caster should involve doing research on the players who they will be casting, not just casting the games. That way if they choose not to spend their leisure time reading up, they will still not make clueless statements like Kas as a newcomer or XiGua as an unknown. Some people do a very good job at this. I know d.Apollo often makes extensive note sheets on players before tournaments. I don't mean to hate on Tasteless because I do enjoy his casting. He is very entertaining. He could just be a little more informed as well.

For me it was more of a look at the other Koreans showing their support for MVP, he is the last hope for them to maintain their dominance in WCG.

Of course you don't want to criticize play as a caster because it only hurts the growth of the sport, but they need to stop saying "crushing" or "the most amazing play I've seen out of such and such." Cheese is a part of the game, but of course Korean players are better at it because it's standard on the Korean ladders and being proficient at it is a skill you should have, but no way does it mean a player is great that they can pull off the multitasking and micro required to be really good at it. Of course MVP is a fantastic player and has the other skills required in the game, and congrats on getting to the finals. This is a complaint about Tasteosis and has nothing to do with MVP. It just gets me thinking back to the Fin game they cast the other day.
The fark? They are hyping up the show and Tastosis are a bit biased for MVP and Nestea. There is always biaseness in games. They are currently the best duo caster in SC2 and there are obviously flaws but no one is perfect okay.

It would help if they had data gatherers. Maybe one day some organizers will hire people to collect the raw data like every other 'sport.'

Kas macro is superb.. he actually was catching up in supply against MVP.. sad it never reached late mid game coz he messed up the elevator.

I wish people would stop saying "no need to watch finals MVP is going to win." Not enough people are noticing that XiGua went 6-0 in group stages and undefeated in brackets so far. Do I think MVP will win? Of course, but its silly to say the finals won't even be remotely close. I will be rooting for XiGua, gotta root for my fellow chinese man

he also didnt "mess" up the elevator, he did it fine but mvp defended it well
