This is still amateur work and they don't have that luxury as I pointed out earlier. One day maybe. Yes having at least a couple of people backing you up on each cast with just statistics and player history info makes the NFL NBA NHL etc... casters seem smarter than they are. (despite that most sports fans already think those "pro" casters don't know what they are talking about anyways)

So good to see XiGua in the finals! He can give MVP a run for his money, and I'm going to be praying to all the gods of ESPORTS for him to win! 加油! As for the caster knowledge debate, IMHO they could do more, maybe check TLPD and Liquipedia, but it's not their fault that the Chinese scene is so isolated and information so few (blame the Chinese Firewall, no streaming websites, no Youtube, and lack of big tournaments in China and the relatively lack of travelling Chinese players do).

Seriously reckon if MVP stuffs up even a little bit Xigua will take it. Even if MVP doesn't stuff up, Xigua still might take it by brute force. They are equal imo. MVP just doesn't have enough replays to study of Xigua, whereas Xigua has been in the "shadows" so to speak. Chinese players tend to be extremely well prepared and professional about the way they game. Xigua will pull out all stops to beat MVP. Is it BO7? Cuz I think BO5 might not even do this justice. (or is it BO3 ... I'm going to knock my head against the wall if the finals was BO3...

XiaoSuh and Joy are happy to help I'm sure. The chinese scene is pretty much NeoTV stuff + PTSL + random leagues like the G-league / Starwars. Only managed to watch moonglade vs MKP in SC2 today, and War3 finals (T.T Sky nooooooooo (also bi-est Korean commentators jumping up and down (even though was listening to Chinese commentators))) So good to see XiGua in the finals! Not hard to follow (guess I read/write/speak mandarin but yea). Best players are LoveTT, Xigua, F91, Loner. The good players are like Uhen, Jim, other players on WorldElite, other players on iG.

And yes BO3, this tournament is a joke in far too many ways to describe.
