The sad truth is that people have said "build more queens" and "build more Spine Crawlers" for months, every time there was a Zerg balance complaint. All we got in reply is something like "get out bronze leaguers". So all praise to Spanishiwa and NesTea (Spine Crawler vs. Forge expo) for showing these people how to abuse these mineral only Zerg units and structures. There can never ever be too many "pushover games" with this style until the supposed experts and their fan base accept it, so ... thanks DRG.

MKP is the only one who can go MMM against a zerg without being ridiculous thanks to his amazing micro. But maybe he has to change and go for the standard marines/tanks/thors...

MarineKing/Prime is the same situation as Jaedong with OZ in BW.
He has all the pressure on his shoulders. Polt and Maka aren't terrible, but they can be taken out by the 4th/5th best players on a lot of teams. MarineKing has been thrown in the last three GSTL's to save Prime's ass and win it for them. He's never been able to make the comeback for his team.
Prime just has a really shallow line-up. Compared to a team like MVP/Slayers/oGs/StarTale who can throw out four or five guys who all have the ability to beat a top player, Prime has one and a few halves. Even fOu has a deeper line-up and they're on the edge of not qualifying for the GSTL.

No its not to the level MK was doing it in that game.
It was better than I see from other pros which makes it = insane.
Maybe MVP or bomber has that good micro but few other terran.

I really think this is a coaching problem for MKP. I guess he's too much a "star" so the team let him do what he wants. He needs someone who has enough autority to say him "Hey, stop using showmatch builds in ACE matches"

oGs is 0-2 in GSTL. If they lose now they will tie Prime as the biggest losers in GSTL with 0-3 records and be the only teams in GSTL to never win.
Even ZeNex won a match in Season 1.

The way to counter queens and spines is to stay back and turtle what everyone has been saying for months as well. Just because the current metagame vs zerg is "to do early presssure otherwise you're wAY BEHIND!!" doesn't mean that this is what you actually have to do.

Wait wait wait, isn't it just the way sC owned Losira in the last GSL?
MMM is a "standard" strat against Z, it just gets weaker and weaker as the zerg gets more and more tech. It's so damn strong in the midgame though, any decent terran can use it and not look ridiculous.
