I've personally never been to comfortable with the tiers in Starcraft. In WC3 it was pretty easy to classify builds by main building tiers, but in sc thats only possible with Zerg. I mean, yeah, technically medivacs are t3, but are they comparable (in tier) to ultras/broods? I think not... True it could be argued that although technically vikings/medivacs are t3...they are weaker compared to other races' t3 units (outside of thors and bc's which are useless in certain match ups). I just wish thors didn't have soo much energy...so that HT feedback wouldn't outright rape them and that BC's were easier to transition into. But regardless PvT is pretty balanced...just requires Terran to do a lot of efficient drops. ultras and broods are tier 3.5, not tier 3. (require hive and greater spire/ultra cavern) And bc's are tier 4: barrack/factory/starport/fusion core there is no tier 4 in starcraft. its still classified as tier 3. uhh basically when you require an extra building after getting to the "tier" i.e battlecruisers need more than just a tech lab to build its essentially another tier Wow so Broodlords are t5? Pool > Lair > Hive > Spire > Greater Spire? Time to learn what tiers really mean in sc2. Starcraft doesn't have tiers, don't propagate that oversimplified garbage.

Hasuobs should know this by now, but I think the map favors Kas a lot. Honestly, what do you expect him to do? It's kind of like "Mass gateway + robo again! sigh!" It's why this series isn't super amazing. It is an example of a lot of things that are wrong with the state of SC2 right now. This is so ridiculous. By this logic TvP in brood war was the most drop dead boring matchup in the history of RTS games because terrans made vultures and tanks every game, and protoss made zealots and dragoons.

That doesn't even make sense at all, unless you know that it's the last game. Sounds like possible damage control. :D But I also think Husky was trolling. :D They have said this before.

Hope hasu evens it 3-3 for the excitement lol Coinflip? Seriously this thread is painfull to read...Go tell MC about coinflip emp/feedback. What else do you call it then? In the game before, hasu won mainly because he feedbacked before ghosts could emp. This game (despite the fact that kas was clearly ahead), kas took the last fight because his emps were perfectly spread and hasu was left with 1 storm and near to no shields. Im not saying the mu is only coinflip, but the last games showed that both got equal control and can catch eachother off guard - therefore making it a 50/50 situation who gets the better end in a bio/ghost/medivac vs gateunits (&templars) fight. I really dont get what your trying to say with "tell MC" though Kas took that last fight because he was 2-3 bases ahead of Hasu after the initial exchange. The EMPs were icing on the cake, but he could have gone pure marauder with medivacs and just a-moved and probably won.

I feel like Ps might try to incorporate warp prisms to keep their caster energy intact from EMPs. They've got to figure out a way to lessen the severity of ghosts. plenty of players already do that the problem is 1.) it's harder to micro and 2.) when ur opponent has buncha vikings u can lose 3-4 templars and warp prism to one or two volleys that depends on the meta game.. why would they build vikings if you arent building collossi? why don't you ask kas... have u been watching the games? ![]() terrans build pre-emptive vikings all the time, vikings are ridic good Well, that and if Protoss manages to get out a couple of Colossi and there are no vikings on the field, Terran pretty much loses. That said, Terran often doesn't replenish his vikings if he doesn't see any Collo, which is part of why a lategame switch into Collo after opening Templar sometimes happens.
