I'm a bit surprised that so many people are mentioning these types of games being boring. I may be a bit biased, playing terran and all, but the tense back and forth is really amazing to watch. The viking/MMM-ball has huge problems taking on the collossus-sentry-zealot-ball, so it falls on the player to be able to wittle down the worker count, which Kas does amazingly!

I really love these type of TvPs since it leaves tons of room for both players to show just how good they are both at multitasking and pulling off gosu harassment

Didn't see the first game, but the second one was essentially over when hasu completely mishandled Kas' 2rax aggression. When you're floating 800/500 in the 6th minute, you don't really expect it to win anymore. The struggle to survive was kinda interesting, but he was extremely far behind the whole game.

It's been a very nice series so far. Kas has some epic multitasking and Hasu has also been playing very nice. Quite enjoyable.

LOL exactly. Carriers only really work if you're ahead, high econ and you need something to crush with. And they only really work in this one MU.

And if you are already on barracks you can easily switch to marines.
Stimmed rines eat carriers and void - it's not even funny.

Most exciting game ever = sC vs NesTea game 5 on crossfire. THAT was an incredible ending. I almost cried in the end,

Second best game ever = MC vs Thorzain game 4 on Tal'Darim Altar. I think my family thought I was going crazy screaming at my PC like that

charge is for sure not bad at all but it doesn't make sense every time and with hasu's style and army comp it really doesn't get you that much.

I think hasuob could of won that last game if he did my xel naga strategy. place a pylon on low ground and hide 2 gateways in his main base if he hold it off tech to carriers its very effective it got me to top 8 platinum cant imagine how well hasu would do with it

Don't think you can say this as a blanket statement, IMO it depends entirely on upgrades, and I think Kas was ahead both games.

obviously upgrades can skew things in any situation. hasu needs to keep up with the upgrades. white ra did the zealot high templar build last week in nasl and it was so good

The games are boring because there is no tension. There was only one point in that game where you could really say that Kas might be in trouble. Other than that, he could pretty much just throw his army at Hasu over and over and just replace it with more Marauder/Ghost/Viking.

this is pretty much any protoss matchup
they just keep throwing shit at you no matter how much you kill.
you lose your shit once and you're dead.

i hope hasu will somehow turn this around. maybe play risky, aka the only succesful way to play as protoss.

He was floating that much because your infrastructure can't spend anymore than that. It is a waste of money dropping more gateways or Robos, that built up money was supposed to be used on the Expansion.

As soon as the Immortal came out and he busted through, his money dropped to 50~ in seconds as he dropped his support bay and took his expansion.

He timed it out well, if he spent anymore on making more infrastructure than he needed, he he would be behind on tech or have a even further delayed expansion.

Thorzain vs. Naniwa will be an insane Bo7.

These games feel like TvP from a few months ago.
