I'm a bit surprised that so many people are mentioning these types of games being boring. I may be a bit biased, playing terran and all, but the tense back and forth is really amazing to watch. The viking/MMM-ball has huge problems taking on the collossus-sentry-zealot-ball, so it falls on the player to be able to wittle down the worker count, which Kas does amazingly!

I really love these type of TvPs since it leaves tons of room for both players to show just how good they are both at multitasking and pulling off gosu harassment

Didn't see the first game, but the second one was essentially over when hasu completely mishandled Kas' 2rax aggression. When you're floating 800/500 in the 6th minute, you don't really expect it to win anymore. The struggle to survive was kinda interesting, but he was extremely far behind the whole game.

He was floating that much because your infrastructure can't spend anymore than that. It is a waste of money dropping more gateways or Robos, that built up money was supposed to be used on the Expansion.

As soon as the Immortal came out and he busted through, his money dropped to 50~ in seconds as he dropped his support bay and took his expansion.

He timed it out well, if he spent anymore on making more infrastructure than he needed, he he would be behind on tech or have a even further delayed expansion.
I agree rediculous criticism especially since kas went up to 600 before spending it on his expansion while not under pressure in the same game.

I don't get why Kas isn't putting on pressure, Hasu hasn't been able to handle it yet.

Carriers?

LOL exactly. Carriers only really work if you're ahead, high econ and you need something to crush with. And they only really work in this one MU.

And if you are already on barracks you can easily switch to marines.
Stimmed rines eat carriers and void - it's not even funny.

Why bother making marines? Thanks to the awesome design decision of Blizzard to make Vikings a great air to air unit counter Colossus the Terran almost always either has Vikings out already or the ability to make a ton of them way faster than Protoss can make Carriers or Voids.

I've been really impressed by HasuObs for a while, although he recently got owned by Vibe, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got stomped here.

Vibe made a bunch of coin flips and got a head. If you were reading the live report thread, most people felt Hasu was playing better than Vibe (superior macro/decision making) but was just too far behind to every catch up.

Kas is going to keep abusing the Terran mobility and the layout of this map... very smart.

Nice drops from Kas, doesn't do much damage but prevents Hasu from moving out.

I don't know why he keeps doing it to be honest, all Kas is doing in response is pumping out vikings. Would like to see more archon play from hasuobs, carriers, immortals...just something different.
