It's more-so to make other builds SAFER against it. Even now, players are getting better at narrowly holding if off. 20 seconds can make a big difference. Remember why they nerfed the build time of zealots? That's right, because it was kickass. I would like to see what terran would think of a 40+ increase in the build time of tech labs to make a comparison. HF. Also there's no reason to do it. The change was made for PvP, as that's the only matchup in which the build is viable, unless you notice your opponent is trash and doesn't make any units early on, and don't know how to scout, and even in PvP it's far from OP. A straight up 4 gate is spottable from a mile away with the nexus energy, the stalker, etc. | ||

In PvP it's all about who has better micro with that 4gate. In ZvZ it's all about massing roaches if no one got build order countered by a blind decision they had to make for their opener. | ||
