Getting this map-specific with your openings just takes this game to a whole new level. Watching TSL today, and then that game... very reminiscent of Brood War.  Well, there was not much of a choice. He needed the static defense to stop any small groups of muta and drop play. He just had a difficult time securing a third, no point waiting till 25misn to hit 200/200 off 2base when the Zerg is mining with 5 and banking 10k/10k  , Catz final army was Ultra/Brood/Baneling/Infestor, which is more expensive than Protoss armies.But yeah, I think it was just a bad build to open on that map. Hasu should have went Phoenixes or an engineered 2base timing, maybe reminiscent of MC with DT into mass Blink Stalker | ||
