Their understanding of timings and unit compositions is really unmatched. They're constantly scouting and adjusting their composition while the other teams just build something and hope it works. When your two factory gets scouted and you still go with it, it's pretty obvious that you're going to lose because the Col team is smart enough to counter you. It almost seems like CatZ and Drewbie figured out how to play 2v2 as Z and T, then showed it to everyone, then everyone copied them. It could be why people claim that T and Z are a better combination in 2v2. I just wonder what other type of builds they have.

The robo was just put down, the observer wouldn't have been out for foreverrrrrrrrrr. Nevermind then, but a while ago he stated he no longer wants to play games on NA due to lag Either way it's frustrating that Dignitas almost never seem to be playing their best team all together, no reason they should be getting dragged to an ace match with Col. even if they have to deal with 2v2. --- good scouting from Cruncher to find the ninja port.

Pure speculation: even if he got a raven out, the DTs would have done a ton of damage. Select would have been down a base and a ton of SCVs. Probably thought his only chance was to do an equal amount of damage with banshees. But then he saw Cruncher was on 2 bases, decent saturation and just gave up. I want old SeleCT back! Pretty sure Cruncher isn't a ladder scrub. He's proven time and time again that he can play with the best in NA.

Ravens take 1min to build, in that time he would have lost all his scvs while his banshees didn't have enough cloak to take out all the probes before an obs got chrono'd, especially down a banshee.

It could be why people claim that T and Z are a better combination in 2v2. I just wonder what other type of builds they have. People don't play protoss in team because it's almost impossible to hold off early cheeses on the wide ramp maps. You can go forge first to hold them off, but then your opponents can expand safely 99% of the time and put you behind regardless. The tried and true 1v1 method where you forcefield your ramp isn't possible on the wider ramps which means instant loss on half the 2v2 maps... Having two races is far more versatile than doubling up on T or Z. You can always feed your opponent so you can play two base T or Z from five minute into the game or standard. If you play ZZ or TT then you gain absolutely nothing unless you're doing a strategy that wins before you can feed your ally.
