Second only to col's team However... + Show Spoiler + SeleCt and his main partner, OptikZero lost to Catz and Drewbie in the Prodigy Team League as well. SeleCT and Killer have been the second best team so far, but the margin between first and second seems to pretty big in this regard.

Game 1 was mech vs mech on Crevasse, Rain got a decisive advantage after hitting with a nice attack before Sjow's siege was done (they jostled around with blue flame harass etc through early game). Things went on a while but Rain slowly took control of the map setting up a constricting tank line and steadily shut down Sjow's attempts to expand and mine anything new. Game 2 I can't remember so well, pretty sure it was just a 1 1 1 opener from Rain that ended up doing so much damage he just pushed with it again and won? Rain won both fairly comfortably, he really should have beaten SeleCT too imo but made a really bad mistake in g2.

V - 2v2 isn't 1v1, don't try to compare 2v2 to 1v1 it's a whole different bunch of tactics.

There are plenty, you can look at the Prodigy Team League and you'll find that there were quite a few longer games as well. You can play ultra-defensively and tech up, but if you're as confident in your tactics and timings as Catz and Drewbie, no need to extend the game.

I haven't seen them practice much 2v2 either to be honest... I have seen other teams and players, including SeleCT practice 2v2, so other people do put time into it. They just a really good understanding of the mechanics of team based play, they've been partners for a long time. They even beat out focussed 2v2 only teams. MYM recently picked up a set of Twins for their 2v2 team if I'm not mistaken, or something of that sort. Team leagues are taking an interest in 2v2 and I personally like it's inclusion, it's an interesting matchup.
