And as a protoss myself, I can't help but feel a bit glad that protoss are falling, because it disproves that protoss is OP. There are lots of ways to beat protoss, you just need to find them and use them. Losira showed that today, and for that, I'll always be his fan.

Probably because Protoss players at the highest level (like Alicia) try to get away with greedy plays and have less units in those earlier portions of the game.

Don't fool yourself.
You are fooling yourself too, the amount of zerg QQing here is very low, and it is always the sames, please don't generalize.

Losira will win this, Fruitdealer vs Nestea.... the July will probably beat AnyPro making a ro8 of Nestea/Fruitdealer vs July and Losira vs SC, meaning the semi final will be the best ZvZ ever (after Fruitdealer vs Nestea ), hoping for Nestea vs Losira! Omg, I just got chills reading that. I hope we will get LosirA vs NesTea, wow.
Nestea has a great chance of reaching the finals tbh. Crushing ZvZ until the RO4. Hoping for a Nada vs Nestea finals. ^_^

Zerg QQ if a zerg looses to a toss its 50+ pages of pure whine in the LR threads
Toss looses you find one or two comments of QQ
Don't make blind ridiculous statements...
Anyway GG by Losira! maybe now zergs will stop QQing about balance...

LosirA wanted to go home early. He doesn't have time to bother with colossi.

Zergs are aware about this build since beta, it was a really strong build in all the maps with backdoors like Blistering sands or kulas ravine. But the version of IMlosira is more refined because he is not all-in. he does it with more drones and a third.

Artosis said rushing to DT is the way to counter this build. But how do you scout the build though?
|
Disappointing games, to be honest. Not sure why they got so high recommendation mark. I like both the players but this wasn't exactly what I hoped for. WTF Alicia. How can someone be so good at PvT yet seemingly hopeless in PvZ? I don't get it.

The reason why Alicia lost to that aggression so easily is because he did not build a wall in front of his natural. It might be a mindfk maneuver (cancel nexus 4wg), but losira just went ahead with the aggression anyway.

Going on the ladder now stealing that build xD

It does work for others, just tune in to IdrA's stream if you want the proof.

Because there are Protoss players who know how to defend this build. You need a quick robo + immortal. If you go void ray you also need 2-3 cannons. This build was very popular on the EU server some weeks ago but everyone knows how to defend it now. I can give you replays with me doing it LOL

Don't let them get them.

When you get hallucinate, scout with your phoenix and see if the Zerg is still on hatchery tech when his 2nd base is saturated. That should be a very good tell.

That play wasn't greedy, he did 3 gate->forge cannon expo every time which until now has been the safest build possible for toss.

Yeah he was definitly QQing and not asking for advic, at least it seems to me to be that way.
I am wondering myself, i do not think, that a DTrush is the right answer to that build. Anybody got any idea how to stop this early aggression, without falling behind in economy?
I'm not 100% sure but i think he'd of been fine had his first voidray been in the fight from the beginning and if he had made another voidray instead of a phoenix(which I guess would require him scouting the push in the first place).

he's not hopeless in pvz.. his last 3 wins before this match were against the best zergs ever. losira just had an outstanding punishing build against him this time. they were good matches because they were very educational for zerg
